Yep. They blame time difference, no fans, and overall rating decline across all sports.

The time difference is especially dramatic in the case of events in Asia because of international dateline reasons. 2/3 of the world wakes up to phone notifications of "[athlete name] wins gold in [event]". So why bother watching if you already know the result?

The same way a guy got to use two decades of female gymnasts as hand puppets. That kid is Mommy and Daddy's meal ticket to a comfy retirement and nothing is going to stop that.

They said they were out of subs but I have a hard time believing that there isn't some sort of contingency or secondary rule that addresses the particular situation. But I never understood all of the rules of baseball.

They subbed him out for the last out when he caught a ball in left field and ran it into the shortstop.

Yeah. But they let him hit with one arm? And let him field. They only took him out when they realized he could hurt their chances of winning. It's a bad look for that coach.
