Yep. Way too much optimism now. Time to be dismally disappointed. A gentleman should know that the more likely a Pitt team should win the more logical it is they will lose.

Stop it. Pitt beats teams with crappy QBs. VT has a QB that is crappy when he is healthy, and he is not healthy. This is a scenario where pitt's defense crushes this guy with many, many fine sacks and TFLs.

Saw the first quarter. Pitt def looked like the more complete team. Looking forward to cheering the Panthers on in person next week

My only gripe in this game was that the nard dog put in a LOT of reserves on VT's scoring drive and didn't put the starters back in until VT was on the goal line.
The big picture gripe is that the pass defense is not good.
The good news is that burmeister stinks and dj uglagileleileli stinks too. I don't know if pitt will beat Clemson, but they certainly * can * beat Clemson.
