Slow trainers. I'm in an online training class right now, and on day two we're already one full module behind because of how slow the instructor has set the pace. He's knowledgeable, but he just goes on and on and on. I'm going to wind up skipping half of the labs so that I don't sit on here all night.

Zoom has the “speed up” emoji that ya boy meow hammers during slow trainings.

TIL. I am dying alive in this class. We haven't even gotten to this module's lab, and that was supposed to be completed around lunch time.

And I just noticed that class was supposed to end 12 minutes ago, and we still have *checks manual* 43 pages left.

I'm right there with you man. We're doing this week long assessment review. It was humming along nicely and then BAM, at about 3pm it dragged to a crawl and we're spending a half an hour on every metric.

I'm in a racing series (LeMons) where, as part of the social aspect, every team needs a theme. We're going as Mormons/JWs spreading the Good News in the form of Extended Warranty offers. Passing out pamphlets and reciting robocall scripts from bicycles while wearing white short sleeve dress shirts and long black ties.

Don't forget to have name placards that refer to you as "Elder [surname]"

Day 4 of training. Trainer says he's not going to do any slides on this module because there are so many. Proceeds to spend 20 minutes reviewing said slides, and then launching a browser and demoing everything we just went over in the slides. J. F. C.

we visit a local coffee shop after our saturday morning target runs - which are decreed by law for all middle class white suburban families of four - and mrs. meow has to stand and read all the menu items quietly to herself. she only does this at this particular place. it drives me bonkers

I just watched my disgusting pig of a neighbor throw trash out of his truck and into my yard. The pathetic excuse for a human being does pay for garbage removal so he litters along the road on which we live and the adjoining road constantly. The last time I saw him do it, I called the state police who told me they could file a complaint but cautioned me that the neighbor might retaliate as he's been known to so (a past containing stalking, harassment, etc). I'm not afraid of the man personally, but I wouldn't put it past him to damage my property, key my Jeep, or throw poison into my yard for my dogs to stumble upon.

So freaking annoying.
