We watch more Family Feud than I care to admit (not a lot, but more than 0 minutes is probably more than I want to admit). I'm surprised that this many people watch enough FF to have hot takes about it. I always thought it was like eating pringles. Something I do, but never talk about it with others.
Yeah, we put it on during dinner when we're not ready to watch a quality show. ;)

We did get into the Ray Combs era on Prime for a little while. Then I found out how it ultimately ended which made it kind of sad to watch. Then two years later mikey shows up with a thin reference to it. Weirdness.

Ray Combs is the only host that I didn't know about. I've seen episodes from every other FF host.

FF is weird. it's the most popular gameshow I think. Not the best (Jeopardy is the best by a large margin) but the most accessible and there are re-runs of it all the time

Google reviews that say "I stopped by on the day they're closed =( - 3 stars"

Um thanks for the horrendous review. I've gotten 10% 3 star reviews or worse. And most of those praised us in the review. 1 said nice items. - 1 star. That one was funny.
No need to apologize. It’s 2 am and you are a dry cleaner

It's just a fun show. I love how they list certain things on the board. Like the person will say 'sex', and on the board you see 'gettin' booty'.

Not in Philly for some reason...

I have never waited longer at Philly airport than I do between like 5 and 6 am. Every other time, I zip through the whole process in 4 to 12 minutes...

Of course, I haven't flown in more than a year...
Agreed. The worst security lines I have ever encountered were at PHL for early morning flights. I got there at 4:45 AM for a 6:30 flight thinking that would be safe, and I panicked the second I got to the check in area.

Hopefully, Pre-check bails me out on the lines.

At larger international portals Pre-check doesn't always help much, sadly. Depending on which terminal you're flying out of, there can still be 50-60 people in line at LAX. SFO and SEA are generally smooth sailing, though. Burbank doesn't count, because even if every passenger for every flight scheduled to leave in the next 2 hours all arrived at exactly the same time, that's still only like 250 people, tops.

I haven't flown since 2019, but pre-check lines always look shorter at PHL. I know for damn sure that people I've walked up the escalator with go through quicker.

Amazon's Subscribe & Save page for upcoming orders needs to be better. It shows you pricing on each item, but provides no breakdown. I wanted to check the price of each item to see if it was higher than buying it outside of S&S - which has happened to me before - but you have to go into your open orders and view each item/invoice individually.

My last two s&s orders have been canceled. One was for water, the other dry dog food. Both were in stock the very next day but, too late, order canceled and I have to reorder if I want the items.

Most of my S&S is cat food, and this past year has been rough in that category. Either the price skyrocketed randomly for a few items, or Amazon was out of stock entirely. Each time, I simply went to PetSmart and picked it up locally.

On a related note, I actually did just that yesterday. Got home and realized that the person rang up 24 cans of the wrong one, so I paid triple what I should have. Gotta go back today, I guess.

Airports are worse very early because everyone wants to wring every last second of sleep before an early flight, you have a big bank of 6-7 am flights to hubs to connect, then the people who are on flights that are still early but at a more decent hour like 8:00 start trickling in.

Monday early morning is the freaking worst.

Been on a couple 5:15 AM flights. I don’t think I have ever recovered.

people who order food at the drive-thru speaker and then bail. no, I didn't order $9.05 worth of coffee and donuts. mine is $5.26 and please don't give me whatever that douchebag ordered and stiffed you for.

I've had it happen a couple of times. car in front of me orders their food at the speaker and pulls forward. they then decide that they don't have 3 minutes to wait in line so they just drive off. these people have clearly never owned or managed a food and beverage business.

That's worse than the cretins who don't bother ordering at the screen and instead wait until they get to the window to order. And yes, I've seen that happen a number of times at my local DD.

I did this once as I had a 4 year-old say he had to pee right NOW after I placed an order so we parked and went in. They did try giving my food to the people behind us but they figured it out.

Getting reimbursed through a Bank of America for our dependent savings account is an absolute **** show every time. We put one claim in at the end of the year for the last six years and every time they boot it back because they aren’t sure what type of service it is. It **** says “Preschool” in the god damn header and the school’s tax ID is on there too. Just gimme my five Gs
