You know what really grinds my gears...
I stopped at a get go to go #1 this afternoon. This is a get go that was built within the past 10 years with the getgo cafe and all the bells and whistles. but there was only 1 stall and 1 urinal. How can a modern era gas station be built with one friggin urinal and one friggin stall
Also the guy at the stall didnt wash his hands. Covid is over but asstastic hygiene lives on

When right after you click on a link on YouTube to watch a video you notice another link on the page that looks interesting, but when you hit "back" that link is no longer there, and you don't remember the title to look it up.

Outage is now at 4 hours. Took over 3.5 for anyone to even get here to investigate. I am beyond pissed at this point.

I am beyond **** pissed off now. It took almost 4 hours for them to arrive to even start looking at the problem, and almost 3 hours after that to get it fixed.
I just spot checked the temperature on a few things in my fridge and it looks like I'm going to have to toss most of the ****, including almost everything I bought at the store yesterday.
Pissed doesn't actually begin to describe it.

7 hours sitting in a fridge which is essentially a cooler and you have to throw it all away? Seems a bit extreme.

Depends on how high the temp got inside the fridge. It has happened to me, even without me opening the door until the power returned.

Yeah it all depends on how cool you had your home at the time of the outage, how well insulated your fridge is etc.

I checked the temperatures on a bunch of **** and it was all well over 40 degrees. Not EVERYTHING has to go, but **** that was literally never cooled to 40 degrees because it was warm when the power went out is definitely no good anymore.

yeah i see. 7 hours was pushing throwing stuff out and that was with the couple hours buffer of cool down. my power went out at least 7 times the last 2 days. my ice melted into a chunk. but it was about 4 hours. and everything had been in there all day before the power went

Yeah, it varies based on time in fridge and all that. I'm approaching on an item by item basis.
I'm also slightly less agitated after some sleep.

Stuff on the door is probably bad. The deeper into the fridge, the more likely it is still good.

i felt like we didn't empathize with you enough at the time. i started freaking out a bit when i got home from work and found out from neighbors that it had been out for hours and i couldn't reach my landlord. i justified it by telling people my fridge is getting warm. even though i basically have only pickles and cheese in thereYeah, it varies based on time in fridge and all that. There should be a separate line at Chick-fil-A where the people who are stuck in the stone ages and don't use mobile ordering have to go.
They are still really efficient but put those old people in a separate line.

I was talking to a friend about that yesterday.
Modern fast food places should have a food ordering line and a pickup line in the drive thru. waiting in line to order food is archaic

Maybe I'm confused but when we mobile order from CfA we just pull into one of the spaces and enter the space number into the app and they bring us the food. Is this not how it is at all CfAs?
ohhhhhh you mean inside, right? I haven't been inside a fast food joint since 2019

Yes please for the love of god give me a separate line so I don't have to interact with the rest of the cesspool that makes up humanity.

No in the drive thru. Our local Chick-fil-A has both curbside and drive thru but today only drive thru was an option. There isn't?There should be a separate line at Chick-fil-A where the people who are stuck in the stone ages and don't use mobile ordering have to go.

I ordered thru the app like I always do but the 4 cars in front of me all ordered in the actual drive thru this slowing down the process.
Our Chick-fil-A has two drive through lines already cause it so busy all the time. Just make one of those drive thru lines mobile order only so I don't have to wait for dumb tech illiterate people to order their food.
