Yeah, that single line is probably the only thing of interest to anyone else in that post.

Nah, I was actually going to comment on how I was surprised at how many here have had that happen to them (delivery to the wrong address). Then I remembered watching Amazon deliver a bunch of packages to my neighbor’s house last week, get in his truck, and then get back out and run the boxes over to our house. My wife walks into our room a short while later to show me the Amazon delivery picture showing her stuff at the neighbor’s door. Good on him for catching it, though.
With regards to eBay, though, I am genuinely shocked that they aren’t making life miserable for the seller over that. They have a king track record for letting buyers **** over sellers one way or another.

We live on 11th St, sometimes we have things get delivered to 11th Ave.
Firsthand knowledge- You don’t wanna be seen removing something from somebody’s porch over on 11th Ave even if it’s yours.

My neighbor had it. I knew if I threw a tantrum it would turn up. Kind of a shaf thing.

You know what's a swell way to spend a Tuesday afternoon? Finding out you have $6,000+ worth of necessary plumbing work to be done before you can use your kitchen and laundry facilities again.
The pipe that connects that side of the house to the lateral is non-existent, snake pulled back a handful of mud. And we're a slab foundation, so it's jackhammers at dawn.

There's nothing quite like the combination of feelings that come from massive sewer problems. You can put a bucket under a roof leak or board up a broken window, but you can't really do anything about sewage backflowing into the house from a blocked line. Been there, done that, paid the massive bill. And you have my sincerest condolences.

Dang, sorry tif.

Yeah, that sucks. It's one thing to spend some coin on new counters or a fence - obvious upgrades that improve livability and home value. Plumbing repairs like this are just maintaining status quo. Necessary, but depressing.

Yeah, this isn't like "You should update to PVC, bro." It's, "Sir, 1/3 of your house isn't connected to the sewer anymore."
At least it's not bathrooms.

My daughter brought home a test today that was broken up into three sections, and it looks like she was graded by each section individually. The second section had just three questions in it, and she got one of them wrong, so I got an automated email notifying me of the sub-70% score.
I read her answers, and they’re all correct. Did the teacher actually mark down which one was incorrect, or make the correct answer? Nope. So I emailed her asking for clarification.

Is that different than contacting college professors and complaining about your kid's grades? My daughter brought home a test today that was broken up into three sections, and it looks like she was graded by each section individually. Is it? She has a near-failing grade for this one area thanks to a 3-question test, and all of her answers are correct. I’m not okay with that.Is that different than contacting college professors and complaining about your kid's grades? My daughter brought home a test today that was broken up into three sections, and it looks like she was graded by each section individually. Her teacher got back to me and found that there was an issue with the new online testing system, and has corrected her score. She now has a perfect 3/3 on that part of the exam, and 19/20 overall. Is that different than contacting college professors and complaining about your kid's grades? My daughter brought home a test today that was broken up into three sections, and it looks like she was graded by each section individually.
