Since Windows 7, when you right click on a file and select rename it doesn't highlight the extension of the file name to write over if you want to change that as well. XP or 2000 highlighted the complete file name.

Windshield replacement places are not approved to issue replacement inspection stickers for your new windshield.
It seems most insurance companies contract with Safelite, can the Commonwealth seriously not grant them permission to throw replacement stickers on if they’ve replaced a windshield?
They suggested I call around because shops will charge anywhere from $6 to $40 to slap new ones on there. Seriously?

I’d cut the old ones off myself and put them on the new windshield.

I had mine replaced by Safelight 5 years ago or so and don't remember having to do anything with the inspection/emissions stickers but I could be misremembering but it seems like I'd remember having to deal with that.Windshield replacement places are not approved to issue replacement inspection stickers for your new windshield.

I believe there's a setting for this...Since Windows 7, when you right click on a file and select rename it doesn't highlight the extension of the file name to write over if you want to change that as well. XP or 2000 highlighted the complete file name.

There is the setting to hide or show extensions and I always immediately set a new system to show those extensions.

Over the last 2 months, nearly 20% of my Amazon orders that are delivered by Amazon have been late. This time, it’s most of my PC components. It left their warehouse an hour away from my house only to be “delayed” until possibly July 21st, because they can’t track anything, apparently. I’m really getting sick and tired of this act from them.

We had actual mail delivered yesterday - not Amazon stuff, just first class postage letters. According to informed delivery (which I recommend highly), one was supposed to be delivered this past Tuesday and the other on Thursday. So Sunday.
Yeah, they are still screwed up.

It has to be rough for those who depend on USPS for medication, etc. I’ve noticed the slowness with them for a while now, but at least in my case, it’s 99% junk mail.

My last five Amazon order have been late. In each case, the items didn't even ship until the promised delivery day and all were fulfilled by Amazon, so they can't blame any shipping company or a 3rd party seller. None were anything I needed asap (except bottled water, which I get on a subscription and which is almost always late), but it's still annoying.Over the last 2 months, nearly 20% of my Amazon orders that are delivered by Amazon have been late. Free shipping on that water? If so, you would think they would lose money on that.

Yep. $7.48 for 6 bottles whereas the same brand/size is around $2 per bottle at Giant Iggle. The savings make it worth the hassle of it always being late and, a few times, not showing up at all.Free shipping on that water? If so, you would think they would lose money on that.

I may be an anomaly, but very few of my recent orders have been late. The only one that was delayed was an order being shipped by USPS where it wasn't delivered because (according to the USPS website) there was no "secure" location to leave it. Instead, I got a "we missed you" notice in my mailbox. That's bullcrap, because I have a box on my front porch specifically for holding packages. I was going to go to the post office to get it, but it got redelivered two days later even though when I went online the USPS said that I couldn't ask for redelivery. And the package fit in my mailbox anyway (I have a jumbo mailbox) and was left there the second time, so I have no idea what happened. It was just a package of OEM Kia oil filters for my car, and I didn't need it now anyway, so I didn't really care about the delay.

100% of my Amazon orders are on time or early. Probably just jinxed myself.

My recent shipping beef is with UPS. I received two packages (one a $1k computer) that needed to be signed for and they just dropped them off.

One of my components was delayed by Amazon on Sunday, so I quickly cancelled that item and bought it from B&H. Just got the shipping notice, and it’s FedEx, so this computer may never get built.

The USPS is on my **** list atm. Multiple times this year they have inexplicably returned expense checks from work without delivering them. I've lived here for almost 6 years and never had anything like this happen before.
You know what really grinds my gears...
Being the one that had to handle expense checks returned by the post office when I was still working in-office, I can't tell you how many times I reached out to vendors saying the check was returned due to a bad address and got "We've been here for 20 years and never had that issue" back as a response.
I can't imagine how much worse it's gotten, especially given all the cuts.

Why are raspberries to darn expensive? $5 for 6 ounces. They're probably the one "healthy" food I actually like to eat and they're more expensive than filet mignon.

If you can buy filet for $10/lb, send me a few pounds of it...
