Kind of sounds like you. :pop:
I can see parallels but this kid is about 20 iq points below me and is more sociopathic than psychopathic

...how ****** oatmeal tastes from the microwave vs. the stove. Ugh, it's not even close...so gross...why even have microwave instructions on your box when you know it's not edible in that form...?

I'm going to make overnight, no-cook steel-cut oatmeal tomorrow.

It's made with milk, cinnamon, pinch of salt, raisins/craisins, and almonds.

I'll give an update in 24 hours. :pop: <--me eating oatmeal.

I was at a play this weekend and there were two old women sitting behind us that brought in food following the intermission. What world do people live in that they think you would be able to eat or drink at a stage play?

That one freakin' lemon seed that always ends up in the bottom of my iced tea, and inevitably gets sucked up through the straw.

People who insist on talking about work while you eat lunch at your desk. Go away.

Oh, yes. I have a personal policy of not discussing work in the break room. My lunch is unpaid so they're getting zero effort from me while I dine.

I do not like oatmeal.
I generally don't either because the stuff gets stuck in your teeth and, for instance, Quakers don't use advertised fruit, just some apple pieces, colored and flavored (they're disgusting to be honest). But I can eat their maple/brown sugar oatmeal, just have to make sure to soak it well because their oats aren't that good (harsh). The oatmeal I do recommend is maple/brown sugar from Trader Joe's. Their oats seem to be higher quality and are easier to eat.

Ticks. We had to remove 4 over the weekend and 2 more this morning including one on the back of my son's head with the head of the tick still inside. They are all deer ticks too. Fantastic.

What's worse is the wife wont use a deet product and wont let me use one on our son. Look, I'm fine with all the essential oils being used for this and that (she makes a regular bug spray from some oils that works fantastically on mosquitoes) but when it comes to deer ticks, especially if we are (apparently) going to be coming into contact with them on a daily basis then deet needs to be used.

Strong as ****. 600 pound olympic back squat, 300 pound snatch, 400 pound clean and jerk, and he's only like 180 pounds. Maybe a tad generous on some of those numbers.
I'm no doctor, but he might need to go see one if true.

Are you serious. I had one on the other side of the knee one time and when my friend removed it, it came out with the head and all, but it already ate a hole there (bleeding). This is a major problem.

Everything I read said if you don't get the head it is no big deal. Our bodies will expel it on their own. Just monitor for infection and treat it as an open wound. We will basically be on Lyme watch for the whole summer. The dog will almost certainly end up with it at some point but that really isn't a big deal. Our last dog had it and the meds did their job. She had 1 flare up but that was it. He is going on Advantix this weekend.

Yeah, our dog definitely doesn't have a boring life. Dude basically runs a 6 acre section of Beaver County. Moles and rabbits beware.

I'm partial to the quaker strawberries and cream instant oatmeal. Pretty much my go to breakfast during the work week and the state you describe it is the best.

Mrs Tif gets lots of Amazon gift cards through the year (they're the 'attaboy' perks at her company), and we apply them to my account since I have the Prime subscription. Last week, I decided I was going to purchase a lot of TV episodes we have on the DVR to free up space, and set about doing so through the Fire stick. I did not know that carrying a gift card balance preempts your preferred method of payment. I went through our whole gift card balance buying No Reservations and Parts Unknown episodes.
