Who...and I cannot stress this enough...the **** wears black jeans? Are you auditioning to be an extra in a White Snake video?

Not going to lie, I have a pair of black daisy duke cutoffs that I wear in the summer with brown cowboy boots. And yes.

I have black jeans, but they are strictly for rock and/or roll concert going. I have had them since 2014 and they have been washed twice.

I voted the weiner option. Mainly because I don't normally subscribe to absolutes and there is the possibility it looks good in some combinations or circumstances. I don't generally do it myself.

I voted no. Under no circumstances would I wear brown shoes with black pants. I'm actually very shocked that there are so many people that do.

Gotta wash them once in awhile. Wash them on cold cycle, they don’t fade

Also, I only have one pair of black dress shoes and/or boots

Wash them once every 10 wears at most to maintain fit and prevent too much “rebound.” Or go even longer and wear them until they smell a little funky. Use a damp cloth or old toothbrush with mild soap to remove small stains instead of washing them. You know the distinct lines and creases you see on your jeans, the ones specific to you? That unique look comes from wearing your jeans for long periods without washing.

I’ll change my vote on dress pants

Pure black pants do not go with brown shoes but work with oxblood/cordovan

Charcoal pants though, brown works

Charcoal dress pants is as close to I get with black dress pants and I'm pretty sure I've worn those with my brown cole haans. Does that pass your weiner test?

Charcoal and brown is good. Just have to be careful with shade of brown

And it can't be like super dark charcoal where it can be mistaken for black.
