This team and fanbase needed to be taken down a notch or three. Love it for some reason lol

Well, #WPS!!

Since a huge portion of UofA enrollment comes from Dallas/Houston - winning both games against the main TX academic/sport competition is sweet...

Since all OSU fans are scumbags, a certain slice of that fan base has elevated themselves to super scumbag status by kicking this poor kid while he is down by saying “how are we going to replace his production??” Kid was a senior with about 20 career tackles. Instead of being empathetic towards an obviously frustrated kid that probably poured his heart and soul into the program for four years.

There's a thread on r/CFB about fans who cheer for a school of which they weren't an alumni. And really, that's my problem with college football. I enjoy watching it but I mostly root against schools rather than having my own team. That's what happens when you go to Ohio University and not THE Ohio State University. How do you guys handle that? Do you root for a school you didnt attend? If so, how did you pick a team?

I didn't go to Pitt (I went to a two year tech school), but I grew up watching Pitt and being miserable so I just kept that misery going in my adult life.

I root for my alma mater (akron) but they suck a big one and have rooted for Pitt ever since I can remember so it's easy for me. Akron and OU have good hoops teams at least nocera, MAC hoops is fun to watch imo

Yeah I root for them if they make March Madness but I'm not real big into basketball. I guess it should be Pitt considering I live in the city and have always been a fan of the pro sports teams. I just feel no allegiance to Pitt. And those damn kids need to use the crosswalks in Oakland.
