Nice to see you back, Rocco.All of the RBs they had on the roster prior to the draft sucked, this isn't a deep class for RBs, and this current brain trust has been unable to find RBs in deep drafts. It's fine.

I'm of the opinion this is a rebuilding draft. There's hardly a chance they hit a homerun with RB, OL, CB and Ben has an above average year. Not to mention not having any major injuries.
Linemen can be found in rounds 2-4 just as well as backs can. I'm not saying RB is the right choice or the best choice. That's something the front office has to determine. I'm sure they have the positions I listed above as positions of need, and they'll draft based on that. Don't buy into the best available either, unless he's a once in a generation player.

Couldn't agree more. The Steelers are going to need a legitimate beast bellcow RB, especially when Ben retires and they are going to need a strong running game to support whatever young QB (please God not Rudolph) they go with.

Moronic usage aside, their best OL last year was arguably Dotson, a rookie 4th round pick that draft pundits said was a reach. Harris is a legit impact talent. Sometimes being mean and strong is enough to make it as an OL and you can find a lot of those guys in the middle rounds.

This is what I kept reading, and what guided my opinion. If the draft is that deep at OL, grabbing the RB in the 1st was the right move.Also to be fair there is a huge amount of depth for offensive lineman in rounds 2-4 of this draft.

Mulzy and Poni aren’t fans of the pick. That’s how you know it’s good.

@dodint, Franco approves the pick.

Should trade up for Owusu-Koramoah. Or take Radunz

He’s much better than Jesse James.
I’m sure that’s obvious to most of you.

Bleh. He’s apparently an excellent receiver and best inline blocking TE in the draft. He’s still half the man and TE that Mr. Perfect is.

I have never seen a team start a tank year by tanking the draft. Tomlin will have excuses out the wazoo.

Green sounds a lot like Dotson. Strong and mean. Good run blocker. Needs to work on pass blocking. Can go either center or guard.
