I think at this point, I'd have rather the Steelers just tell Ben go ahead and retire or try and find a trade, we're gonna start rebuilding now.

I can't imagine this offensive line is going to turn it around, or if it does I'll be highly surprised. Not that DeCastro was even a shade of his former self, but there's almost zero continuity now.

Probably true, but I don't expect this year to be great because of that, and Ben will probably be in a walking boot by week 6 or 7.

I was heartbroken that he couldn't stay healthy during his tenure here. I'm sure Cards fans will feel the same way.

I don't know if this is necessarily Steelers' news anymore, but Lev Bell got outed by some instagram model over the weekend for being a deadbeat dad.

The Conner stuff is the most unsurprising thing ever. Tomlin seems to be the guy who wants to be the smartest, prove people wrong guy in the room when it comes to personnel decisions, and JC is basically the epitome of that.

Given the turnover in the OL Ben may die before there is even a thought of benching him.

I'm also not sure if there is a point where he could be bad enough to consider playing the other "qbs" over him tbh.

Like what is that point? Kordell Stewart throwing the INT to Vrabel as he is literally sitting on his ass on the ground bad? Tommy Maddux vs the Texans after his spinal injury bad?
