Some of you have friends who are Browns fans? lol
I think Freddy is a Browns fan. Not sure why, but it is what it is.
Having many family members as Browns fans has provided many jokes over the years. It's been so bad for them that I've almost begun to feel a little sorry. ALMOST

If you need a pick-me-up every once in a while, just befriend a Browns fan. You'll thank me later.

My son and I were just talking about this very thing this morning on the way to school this morning. He saw a car with a Steelers plate/decal with a Flyers sticker. He was very confused by this; and I actually mentioned Freddy specifically as a Pirates/Penguins/Browns fan.

"Oh, your make believe friends Dad," scoffed the 14 year old.

The Penguins/Browns fandom is very common, as any hockey fan in Cleveland older than the Columbus Blue Jackets is a Penguins fan. And even the younger ones are smart enough to choose a winner over the BJ's.

The only reason was when I was growing up in WV our local NBC station in Charleston was for whatever reason a "Browns" affiliate and we got all their games and there was a special Browns report in the Gazette.

Same with Pens and Pirates.

Offensive line has been terrible in run blocking this season. Al is old, Feiler is a D2 scrub, I have no idea who the **** the backup center is but Pouncey hasn’t been “Pouncey” for years, DeCastro is old and injured and has been outplayed in the running game by Dotson, and Chuks still run blocks like he came from a pass heavy college offense.

Was in boot camp with a dude from Youngstown who was a Browns, Penguins, Pirates fan. Browns and Penguins seem obvious why. Living in Youngstown should offer enough punishment without choosing to be a Pirates fan as well.

The few Pittsburghers who are NBA fans tend to be Cavs fans, no? I mean I don't see a ton of Cavs crap on cars or anything but it's out there. When they played in Richfield it was halfway to Pittsburgh anyway.

Definitely many Pens fans in Cleveland, I used to work at a plant in Avon Lake and when I was there it was good Pens talk.

I went to a game there in the early 90s? First year of their new arena (was Gund Arena at the time). That was the first time I thought the Civic Arena was severely outdated.

You have to remember the Indians had an entire movie made about how futile their franchise was. Had to pick your poison if you lived between the cities

And if you go by titles in my lifetime it's Bucs 2, Indians 0.

If you want potential to be let down in the regular season and accept defeat well before September you want Bucs. If you want potential to lose painfully in game 7 of the World Series to an expansion team, it's Indians.

Hollow threats when no one on the roster can catch the ball.

Vance McDonald surely can catch a ball or two.

He has 9 catches this year. Throw him the ball. Ebron doesn't want hit and alligator arms every other pass

That's a good point. Vance has had drop issues before but has generally been a reliable pass catcher. I'm not sure what he did to deserve being relegated to the Matt Spaeth role on this offense.

Washington has been consistent in his few chances, or from what I recall. He should see more playing time

- Claypool got the fourth most snaps out of the WR corps. That’s not enough.

- Read an interesting piece from Wolf. Started out talking about the lack of practicing in pads causes lineman to lose form and get lazy with pad level (Baldy’s video). He thinks they should move DeCastro to LG, Feiler back to RT, and put Dotson in at RG. Feiler or Chuks at RT makes little difference to me but there’s been enough evidence this season that the run game is better with Dotson.
