Skins just won the super bowl. Or is that just how a lot of their fanbase looks right now?
Beating an 11-0 team is no big whoop I suppose?

Yes. The onus is on the Steelers to shut him up in a few weeks.

I can't blame their fans at all. The Steelers self-sabotaged at multiple points; this was their game to lose. But the WFT still rose to the occasion and took advantage, and that's worthy of celebration, especially when it puts them in the hunt for winning the NFC Least. This may not have been the SB for them, but it was a critical game.

Steelers probably win this had they played on Thanksgiving, right? That kind of rest is probably worth a few drops and 1 yard on 4 tries, no?

Oh yeah 6 extra days of rest and prep gets you this. I said they were probably gonna lose today. It was a bad recipe

I didn’t watch the game but just saw that and that looked pretty cheap

What I don’t understand is that they use a different ball for kicking, right? How does that work in hurry up situations? Does the kicker just kick the normal ball?

What was up with that move? Who leaves mid-field with the ball in their arms?

They're in a stretch where they're playing 3 games in 11 or 12 days because of the reschedules.

In an ordinary situation with that clock timing, you just kick the regular ball. The decision to switch to the K ball should've been punitive to WAS, but the refs and their 'administrative issue' gave them a timeout they didn't have and allowed them to kick without clock pressure.

Whether it was a savvy veteran move by Smith, bungled officiating, either, or both doesn't matter. They played an entire half of football after that, and much of of it was abject bed s**ttery.

At the end of the day, it's still a regular season game. Next man up for Spillane's spot, and hopefully Haden is okay.

...and the Bills looked pretty good last night. Hopefully, Haden, Pouncey, and Conner are healthy and Tomlin is able to get the team's collective **** together for Sunday.

The Steelers needed to lose one of these close games where they played like crap. Hopefully it wakes them up. They've also lost a ridiculous amount of starters, though. Yeah, yeah next man up and all that, but that was bound to catch up to them.

I'm not one for complaining about refs, but that end of the half situation was really really bad. I see if a Stiller walks off with the ball, but having a Redskin Washington Footballer walk off with it? Tough luck, WFT.
