That mouse definitely has something wrong with him.

A racoon has been visiting us on and off lately, and I'm not sure where he's living, but he spent the entirety last night lifting up our garbage can lid and it slamming because he was eating food.

Gonna have to go into garbage lock-down mode and check everywhere around the house to ensure it's not ours he's living at.

Fire a bungie cord over the lid and he'll give up after a while. I had that problem last year and he quit coming around after he realized it was sealed off. Hasn't been back since.

I could've sworn I posted about this before, but search yields nothing.

We had a racoon infestation in our building a couple of years ago. A student complained about a leaking ceiling tile on our first floor bathroom (which is below our second floor bathroom). The facilities guy lifted up the ceiling tile and saw a family of racoons staring at him. The leaking ceiling tile was their excrement etc.

They trapped and caught a few of them, but it took several months to plug the hole in the roof (no water came in though, which was weird). They were scaling walls and going through desks, stealing food. One office had sealed protein bars, that the racoon ripped open and ate and left chocolate foot prints up the bookcase and through the A/C grate drop ceiling tile. They actually lifted the ceiling grate enough to slide through. Sneaky bastards.

Ordered locks from Amazon, moving it away so it can't be climbed and putting a giant weight on it until they get here. Also ordered an airsoft pistol for pistol practice since ammo is so expensive.

Floods in Australia sent spiders scrambling for dry land. A town is now covered in webs:
