you can heat without frothing and IMO, it comes out at the perfect temp for immediate drinking. You can heat milk for hot chocolate with one of those, right? Or is it always frothy? I hate heating milk on the stove for hot cocoa, so I usually use water. But if that contraption works...

Anyone make white coffee?
I bought some the other day and didn't really think about- hey maybe I can't make this in the Mr. Coffee.
Apparently it needs an espresso machine, which I don't have. French press might work, which I do have.
Any advice?

Does anyone have an espresso machine that grinds its own beans without a milk wand? Almost out of Nespresso pods and looking at a cost analysis of spending some money to get a new machine rather than a few hundred bucks every quarter for pods

A rare bad opinion from DD. I forgive you, though.

I assume Nespresso is several orders of magnitude better (and more expensive) than Keurig.
I use my grinder and French press in the morning with Weis organic light roast and it turns out fantastic.
For my pre-lunch and semi frequent 5pm cups, the Keurig is perfect because I don't want to be up until the wee hours. I'll get more adventurous roast wise with those.

I love a good cup of fancy ass coffee and will French press if I've got time. When we go to Mexico my brother in law makes some absolutely unbelievable coffee, grinding his fancy beans and French pressing and aeropressing and pouring over and whatever the hell else. Its magnitudes better than Nespresso. I ain't got time for that **** on a daily basis. Nespresso is light years better than any Keurig or drip coffee I've had so I say suck it.

our keurig is turning 10 this year. looking to get a new coffee maker. does anyone have recommendations for a coffee maker that can brew it's own beans and can brew varying volumes from a cup to a pot?

Hi, I'm MR and I have now developed a coffee addiction.
Out of the K Cups we have at the office:
1. McCafe
2. Donut Shop Original
3. Tim Hortons Original
4. Green Mountain Breakfast Blend
I did have someone show me how to use the janky coffee machine that looks to be about as old as I am, but I don't want to make a whole pot if I'm going to be the only person who's drinking it.

You know what's worse than k cup coffee?
My wife used to buy me k cup lemonade and sweet tea so I could use the Kuerig too. It was bad.

this is not fancy but it does what i need it to do. i think there's a version to just brew a single cup too - we have a nespresso that I use for that
