COVID-19

Postby Troy Loney » Thu Sep 16, 2021 8:52 am

I’m not vaccinated. I had Covid. You’re not gonna tell me about my body. I know my body. I know my morals. I know my faith.
I’ve said it before but I wish Covid was deadlier.

Wonder if he’s pro choice?
Can we, you know, maybe stop hoping/wishing for people to die? Like, you cool with wiping out 55% of the African American and Hispanic communities?

Frustration and anger is completely understandable, especially at this point, but there is a fair amount of bloodlust in this thread that is......unsettling.
1. it's the internet
2. unvaccinated people are causing problems for everyone else (especially those with children that are vulnerable and can't be vaccinated)
3. This is nothing compared to the bloodlust for people that disrupt traffic (protestors and cyclists)

Did you know that most cyclists are white men, so you are actually racist against white males?

If it was deadlier, idiots like him would take it more seriously. That’s what is meant when people say that. He got it and recovered so he knows his body and trusts his faith? Then he tells people what a hoax it is. That’s much more……unsettling than anything said here.

Got the flu shot today while at the doctor. They said they've had it for about a week now.
Got mine on Tuesday. Heard the same thing.

Curious how it interacted with the 5G covid microchip?

I wish COVID killed people sooner than it does now, and we used less hospital resources on people trying to tank human civilization.

I don’t want it to be more deadly. I want it to be a more efficient killer.

My stomach has been feeling off since I got the shot, so I'm sure integrations are going OK.

Secondary question - why are we so bleeding heart to the unvaccinated? Why do we need to hand-hold them? I don't wish the virus was deadlier, but you get what you get, served by your own ignorance.

I'm more miffed because all of this stiff gets to me, someone who's been following the rules - prolonging my lock-down and life from being able to happen.

Because he’s a conservative hack and there’s a non-zero chance he’s unvaccinated

This was from back in July. I would say a majority of these folks probably had the chance to be vaccinated at least twice by now...

So many theories can be drawn from this, but the erosion of the middle class, particularly for people who work with their hands in sparsely populated communities is killing our country.

I legit haven't thought about Breuer since half-baked. I thought he was just a bit actor.

Easy to blame cancel culture for why your former co-stars left you in the dust

I saw Breuer live like 20 years ago. His stories are better than his jokes, and the show was terrific. He looks like he has not aged well at all.

“I was popular when people had 4 channels to choose from and no internet. Why am I not popular anymore? This is a “you” problem and I hate you people for rejecting me, so now I’m going to find fame, and an adoring crowd in society’s scrap heap while I tacitly advocate for your doom. I don’t love it, but at least these people recognize my talent and I can scrape a few bucks together”

And so forth.

Um, what a trash graphic.

So 119% of white people and 108% of republicans are 'waiting to see' or 'definitely not'...that's pretty impressive.

And you've got 51% of democrats in one of those 2 categories...what's the excuse for the other 49%? Just lazy?

Same question for African Americans... What's the excuse for the 73% not counted in the results?

I'm not sure anything can be drawn from this. Maybe, to shmenguins point, this vaccine hesitancy is more driven by socio-economic status than red vs. blue. That, of course, would be way less newsworthy, however.

You're adding the wrong #s together. "Wait and see" is one group. "Definitely not" is separate.

You know both can be true, right? It doesn’t have to be (and isnt) just one or the other.
