I need to watch that Watterson doc at some point, and maybe that explains it a bit, but I completely understand him walking away from Calvin and Hobbes when he did. What I don't understand is how he didn't start another comic series. He's so talented, from the dinosaur stuff, to the noir, Spaceman Spiff, etc. - he could've done any genre really well.

Hell, he still could - he's only 62. Christ, I wish Jim Davis had walked away from Garfield 30 years ago. :lol:

Yeah, it's frustrating and relieving at the same time. Leaves us desperately wanting more.
