Is it from Screen Crush? They use it as a Rickroll meme in their videos.

I actually want one myself. haha
It is! We are big fans of that channel and she wanted to support it.

Looking forward to this, but seeing Ventress back is a head-scratcher considering she died in the Dark Disciple book.

Yeah but could be a clone or since she was a night sister, they don't stay dead long.

“We love Asajj Ventress. She’s a character that we’ve been wanting to tell more stories about,” Brad Rau, supervising director and one of the executive producers of the series, tells StarWars.com. And he makes clear that her return will honor prior tales, including the book in which the character apparently perished. “We don't want to spoil anything, but want fans to know that any new storytelling with Ventress will align with the events of Star Wars: Dark Disciple.”
I, too, think Ventress is one of the best 'side' characters. I hope she's not a clone or Nightsister wakey-wakey drone or something. Death has meaning.

As a reminder:
Carano was fired in 2021 after comparing people with unpopular political views to Holocaust victims.
Maybe they can write a scene where Cara Dune gets fed into an incinerator for being part of the Alderaanian diaspora. Off-camera of course. Wouldn't want to put that in a kids show.

I was fired because I didn’t align with the company values and mission. I was warned multiple times. I’m a victim.

She wasn’t even fired, they just didn’t renew her contract when it was up. This lawsuit will go nowhere… just like her career.

I saw it 5 times in the theater in 99. I think I’m good. Solid poster though.

I was still in the denial phase and trying to convince myself it was good. I don’t think I came to terms with its shittiness until home video. I still maintain that it’s the best of the prequels though.

I took the day off work to go see it* (at the Chinese Theater) And I knew I was okay doing that, because my boss did, too. Sometime around Watto's introduction is when my soul died, because I realized that, yes, this was in fact the actual movie. I think In the end my friend and I wound up seeing it like 10 or 11 times, mostly to nerd out on sound f/x.

Maybe with this rerelease the unwarranted affection this thing has garnered in recent years will be snuffed out, like taking a can of hairspray with a cigarette lighter to an errant cockroach.

* I have taken the day off work to go see a movie on opening day one other time: Prometheus. 0-2

The Bad Batch has been great through the first 4 episodes.

I didn't think I would care for the story of The Bad Batch when the show first came out, so I deferred watching. But I have heard nothing but near universal praise for it, so now I plan on binging the whole thing over a couple of nights when this final season wraps up.

It's not Rebels level, but it's pretty darn good. I'm waiting to watch this final season all at once. If you're going to watch it all at once, I recommend pulling in a few of the Clone Wars episodes that involved them as well as a refresh.

I'm waiting for the Bad Batch to finish and watch all at once as well. I like to binge it. But it is a great story IMO.

Can't believe Episode 1 is 25 years old. Especially when it felt like forever between Return of the Jedi and this coming out, and that was only 16 years. But as a kid, time seems much longer.
