I enjoyed the first episode of The Bad Batch
Oh, I forgot about this. Looks like I have something to watch tonight. :thumb:

Somehow I've never seen the Despecialized editions. That's about to change. I've seen the theatricals plenty of times since I still have the THX VHS set and the Limited Edition DVDs but I'm looking forward to checking these out.

By the way, there's a thread on r/starwars that's debating Despecialized vs. Special Editions and many of the top comments are in favor of the Special Editions (with the exception of Greedo shooting first). So essentially the majority of the users there preferred the Special Editions vs the theatricals. What the ****.

Bad Batch was enjoyable but very LONG. Rest of the episodes seem to be normal length.

We’re talking about a group of people who generally don’t just like, but REALLY LIKE, the prequel trilogy.

Good point. That's "the Maker's" vision so they have to respect it.

If you're like me and collect the Starbucks You Are Here/Been There mugs, Disney just released ones for Tatooine, Endor, and Batuu. Surprisingly, you can order them online. The last batch included Degobah, Bespin, and Hoth. I missed out and the resale market is ridiculous.

Is anyone having problems with the Disney+ app lately? They've uploaded some short form video content for Star Wars that includes some vehicle and environment fly-throughs, and every time I fire one up the episode crashes. It's just these new videos that don't work, as I can fire up other content with no issues.

I wonder if it's just the PlayStation app that's junked. Hmm.

I'm a sucker for those Aerial America shows on Smithsonian Channel, and I'm also a Star Wars geek so this Star Wars Biome is an absolutely lovely marriage of the two.

Happy birthday. Have George Lucas and MIMH ever been seen in the same room together?

Anyone watching bad batch? Animation is gorgeous (people look like wooden Pinocchios on some shots). It's way more detailed than I thought it was going to be. For someone who hasn't watched clone wars, is there anything I'm really missing?

Clone Wars shows the real fall of Anakin, instead of just the condensed turn in Ep. III. Once you get through the first season or two it becomes some of the best canon SW around. Especially the final season.

Just like Temuera Morrison, the original Clone Trooper actor and Boba Fett on The Mandalorian.

So Maul’s race in general was a feeder farm for new sith apprentices and somehow the **** Jedi just didn’t know about a whole race/species of aliens who practiced evil magic, hated Jedi, and were deep in the dark side. What the ****. I hate the Jedi more and more everyday.

Haha, galaxy is a big place.

Watched the 3rd episode of bad batch and I'm really enjoying it. The story and details are so much more in depth than I would have figured.
