Sign me up. TOTJ was excellent, and I love a good origin story. (Morgan Elsbeth cameo!)

New Acolyte still. I know it's tough to judge a photo but, woof. That looks like a fan film or a photo pass pic from Galaxy's Edge.

Beau Willimon is going from House of Cards to House of Jedi.

The playwright and screenwriter has been tapped to work the script for Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi, Lucasfilm’s feature that is to be directed by James Mangold.

Willimon is joining Mangold to write the script for the project that will trace the origins of the Force and be set 25,000 years before any of the timelines and stories told by the movies and shows so far.

Dawn of the Jedi, which is a working title, was first unveiled almost exactly one year ago, at the last Star Wars Celebration, held in London in April 2023.

Not sure why the article doesn't mention it, but Willimon also wrote a few episodes of Andor.

He wrote all three episodes of the prison mini-arc. "Never more than 12," "one way out," Luthen Rael's monologue ("I've made my mind a sunless space")............

Star Wars Outlaws' $110 and $130 editions prompt a collective sigh from potential players tired of season passes and ill-advised early access periods

Never been less interested in a Star Wars game, lol. I'll probably grab it from Steam in a year or so when it goes on sale.

I am meeting some friends at Disneyland next week for an After Dark event for Star Wars. They're going on a couple nights a week from now until mid-May or so, DLR shuts down at 8pm and the whole park is given over to Star Wars. Characters that aren't normally part of the experience, exclusive food stuffs, lightsabers. All the rides throughout the park will be open and are basically walk-ons (might do revamped Star Tours for this reason). The only downer is they apparently don't actually do fireworks for this thing, which seems odd to me.

Anyway, I'm pretty stoked.

Our office will be 'patrolled' by First Order stormtroopers tomorrow (between the hours of 10a-12p PST), in observance of May the 4th.

It was Cast Members from the parks, so they had the full 'talking' suits and they were posing for photos. I was in a meeting the whole time, but the conference room was next to where they were set up. So we had this fairly high-level attorney talking to us about leadership and then we'd hear "We're watching you!" or "This one knows something!" in stormtrooper voice.

I'm set to go with Bad Batch, but before getting that underway I watched Tales Of The Empire. Excellent. I think these short-form animation pieces are a great way to flesh out secondary and tertiary characters like this.
