Bleh, bleh, bleh!

I don’t say bleh, bleh, bleh!
This quote has been said in our house for quite some time now.

I don't mind the Hotel Transylvania movies. They aren't the best but we're all horror fans and it's fun for us.

Minions got to be overwhelming for a while. They're like Will Farrell for me. Best in small doses.

Man, my condolences to all those who were forced to watch Cars 2 and 3, because I can't imagine anyone voluntarily doing so.
Cars has been ruined for me ever since I read the fan theory about how the movie takes place in a post apocalyptic United States.

I subscribe to the Grand Unified Pixar Theory.

I watched The Natural (HBO Max) for the first time in many, many years. Really good, obviously.

I know it's been a meme, but Wilford Brimley was 49 in this film. Robert Redford was 47, playing a 35 year old. Richard Farnsworth, who plays the assistant coach, was 64...but Brimley looks like he's the same age. Not sure I'd want to look like I was 60 for 30 years.

I didn’t even realize this was a theory. I thought it was fact.

Nope, is a fan theory that Pixar has ultimately embraced by putting Easter egg references to their other films in pretty much everything they producer.

Watched Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan (Amazon Prime) for the first time in forever...maybe even in the theater? Probably caught it on cable in the late 80s or something. It was a lot of fun, very lean (under 2 hours!), and probably William Shatner's best acting.

Does this mean that I have to watch Venom then?

Venom was pretty entertaining. Worth your while I think.

Yeah guess I'll need to watch it too. That was a pretty entertaining trailer, though I didn't realize Venom has the same voice as Bane.

Also this feels much more Rami-verse than MCU Spider-man.

Yeah I don’t understand. He looks like Leo only older. Which, considering he’s older now, makes sense.

We watched that for family movie night last week. It wasn't bad, but was basically the same premise as Next Gen, also on Netflix. Like, nearly identical.

Watched this yesterday. Great performances, very understated. Most of the violence is filmed just off camera, which was an interesting technique to build tension. Filmed in Pittsburgh, too.

My wife watched this with our daughter last night and was emotional afterwards.
