Army Of The Dead. I give it about a 3/10, and that 3 was because of decent gore and some cool action. Otherwise, horrendous.

I don’t see why Zach Snyder gets these huge budgets to make near 3 hour movies and they’re just straight trash.
Wait why is a zombie movie 2 and a half hours long? Snyder got Pete Jackson syndrome.

I completely agree with the Bond folks. The last thing I would ever want to see is the James Bond franchise being turned into a bunch of TV shows and spinoffs by Hollywood. Or having a Bond film debut on a streaming service.

I love that 60 years later, new Bond films are still a big deal.

Insiders believe that Broccoli and Wilson would likely nix any plans to debut Bond films on Amazon’s streaming service Prime Video and would insist on a theatrical release, as is their contractual right. That was a key stumbling block when MGM briefly floated the possibility of selling the COVID-delayed Bond sequel “No Time to Die” to Apple for north of $600 million. The producers have also been resistant to have Bond pop up in spinoffs or television shows, the kinds of ancillary properties that could prove highly lucrative. Moreover, the films have been heavily licensed to cable networks and streaming platforms, which could complicate matters.

I couldn’t make it past the first 10 minutes. Turned it off and started Falcon and the Winter Soldier instead.

Gonna watch Terrifier again tonight. If you're a slasher fan I highly recommend it.

This is a bigger deal than just wanting Bond to be a theatrical/cinematic experience from a creative perspective. Talent (both above- and below-the-line, on-screen and off) often have financial consideration tied to boxoffice performance, and none of the shows that went into production pre-COVID would've contemplated the push to get things out via streaming platforms because they needed to generate some sort of revenue off the property. Going forward, that might be different. But everything that was intended for delivery in calendar year 2020 would've required renegotiating potentially hundreds of work-for-hire agreements that by themselves could've supported a 5-person legal team for most of the year...... for every production.

Oh **** that looks great. I'm in for whatever Edgar Wright wants to make. Plus that's an awesome cast.

That looks fantastic. I definitely popped when I saw the Thunderball poster. Bioshock Infinite vibes.

We are really going to all be owned by one big conglomerate one day, aren't we? Are we already? Probably.

I mean, when the 'and change' includes a 50% stake in all the various iterations of The Apprentice - and the associated outtakes - you know, maybe Bezos values that a skosh more than others might.
