That damn Cancer Kazoo is awful. Can’t they come up with some upgrade to those things?

Just about to post that VAL trailer. Had no idea he had throat cancer, and had no idea it wrecked him that badly. The seems very much like a film I'd love to watch.

It looks great. I’ve always been a fan of his. I’ll watch Tombstone anytime it’s on.

Watched The Battle of Britain finally. Not sure why I’ve never watched it before, but it’s on Amazon Prime.

Very typical 60s WWII movie that was very average. I think it was heavily edited down, so there are lots of things that don’t make sense, unfinished storylines, etc. But the dogfight cinematography was excellent, using real Spitfires, Hurricanes, and Spanish knockoff JU-88 and Me109s. The JU-88s were actually still used in the Spanish Air Force at the time.

Watched the John Wick movies this morning on my first flight, and holy ****, I was not expecting that kind of action. Insane. I loved every minute of it.

The club scene in the first Wick movie is 7-8 minutes of action perfection, 'gun-fu' at its best.

Doesn't surprise me. My Vizio smart tv is about the same age and it might as well be obsolete. Hulu and Prime are abysmal on it and Netflix barely works. My PS4 is my smart device these days.

Earth-shattering review. The new Space Jam sucks donkey balls. The only good thing is watching for the cameos in the crowd.

The trailers made me realize that I never fully appreciated MJ’s charisma and “acting ability”. LeBron is a stiff.

Quiet place 1 and 2 are good movies, very much enjoyed the suspense of each one. One sudden move was also pretty good, especially if you like watching your movies through an old timey fish lens monocle.

Good lord this new space jam is awful. Not that the first wasn’t but so far they’ve,
1. Made Lebron a dick
2. Used the crutch of putting all the toons in various WB properties
3. Somehow convinced Don Cheadle to be in this
It’s not even fun bad, it’s bad bad

Read a thing that said it was WB sucking it’s own you know what as a giant HBO commercial. That is correct.

Kids movie with the biggest basketball player on the planet. They made the human piss baby dadhole Michael Jordan likable. In this Lebron was the a-hole push his kids too hard dad. I didn’t want him to win, he was/is a prick and it made you not root for the “good guys.”

Again it’s not as if the bar is high but damn if you want your lead to be likable let’s not have him treat his
Kids like garbage.

Kids were watching it, I couldn't get through the opening scene on the basketball court.

I went into Space Jam not wanting to like it, but ended up laughing a few times, in spite of myself. Not a great movie, obviously, but mindless fun.

There were some horrendous Dad jokes in it, plus a rap battle.
And the Michael B. Jordan gag was funny lol

My kids said that space Ghost was in it, so I'm going to pretend I watched it and that was the best part.

I’ll rewrite the beginning of Space Jam,
Lebron supports his kids even though one is different and doesn’t want to play basketball. He sees Dom’s talent and likes the video game while trying to help him get to E3. WB still brings him in with the same pitch, Don Cheadle still gets pissed but notices Dom’s game. He uses Bluetooth to get in the game, suck Dom in, and make the goon squad but Dom is being controlled. Lebron is also sucked in but sent to a forgotten corner of the web (Looney Tunes planet) continue movie as a Dad rescuing his son.
There you go, good guy is likable, bad guy is bad, movie.

Also the, “King Kong ain’t got nothin on me.” Call back to 20 year old Training Day was WB climaxing on itself.

Mitchell's vs the machines was great, maybe a little too long. Fast five finally got me excited for this franchise. Took a while, but now I'm eager for more. Should've just watched this one from the start.
