I'm saving the F&F movies for next year's flights. Never got around to them this time.

Mitchell's vs the machines was great, maybe a little too long.
We liked it. :thumb:

Pig, the new Nicolas Cage vehicle, has a 97% on RT. It sounds like his performance is phenomenal.

I saw it. It was not good.

Someone finally convinced Nic Cage to be subtle and it doesn't work. The movie came off as artsy.

But that's just my opinion.

ICYMI: Here's today's big news from Kevin Smith himself:
“There’s a saying from the Tao that goes something like ‘To be great is to go on. To go on is to go far. To go far is to return.’ Thanks to Lionsgate, we get to return to where it all started with almost the whole cast that started it all! And for the first time since the first time we ever made a movie in 1993, we’re shooting the entire flick on location in New Jersey, as an ode to both the enduring allure of cinema and the resourcefulness and lunacy of its storytellers. Years ago, Dante and Randal made me a filmmaker – so now it’s time I return the favor.”

Should I bother re-posting the shocked face gif I threw into the PDT earlier?

I wonder if that will be in the Jackass Shark Week episode that I have on my TiVo.

I really wish Dark Tower was written in the 60s so Clint could have played Roland...

Disagree. I don't think he would be good in that role at all, actually. Skarsgard was an A+ selection in the recent one.

Damon and Affleck look ridiculous in that.

Fast five finally got me excited for this franchise. Took a while, but now I'm eager for more. Should've just watched this one from the start.

....wut?

Roland was basically written as Clint Eastwood's man with no name. He has the physical look down to the bombardier blue eyes. His voice is exactly as described in the books. His ability to play someone that gives 0 shits about anyone or anything other than his own is exactly what the role needs.

However, my current choice would be William Fichtner
