Puddles must’ve heard Jon Bon Jovi’s abomination and decided to do a better version.

She’s astounding and you don’t have to be a country fan to appreciate it.I heard her version of Silver Bells on the sat radio this afternoon and bought it from iTunes on the spot.

My mother played a couple Johnny Mathis Christmas albums throughout my childhood.
I now have them all for my kids to enjoy.
So smooth.

Listening to my Grandparents’ Christmas records tonight. Back in the 60s-70s it was common for stores to sell Christmas compilation records for like a buck. I have them from the A&P, Goodyear, Firestone....featuring Robert Goulet, Jerry Vale, the good ol Harry Simeone Chorale....
Some are better than others but it’s good nostalgia especially after the passing of my Grandmother last month.
I was a real freakin’ pest for my parents to get out the Christmas records and pile them on the record player.
For the uninitiated the forerunner to the 6 disc CD changer was you could stack records and they would drop down one at a time. I’d play the heck out of those things.
