I have, but not in the last, at least ten years probably, the way that they're being bandied about makes it seems like something people would consider eating more than once or twice a year...
I'm happy eating them once a week. Chilli, cheese, tomatoes, pickles, fried onions straws, ketchup, mustard, relish, etc. The possibilities are endless and they are delicious.

All-beef dog, poppy seed bun, yellow mustard, white onions, sweet relish, dill spear, tomato, and pickled sport peppers.

Once a week?!?! Jesus, you probably have the life expectancy of like an NFL linebacker...

I'm searching, I can't remember the last meat log I had...maybe one, drunkenly, at a cookout sometime in my slightly-after-college, still-in-college-basically years...but still, that clock is at least 5 or 6 years I gotta imagine...

That's not a desirable food choice to me. Burgers I don't eat either, but I get that a little more...I get them having more appeal...

Eh. Im healthy and in good shape, until the Dr says otherwise, bring on the picnic foods. Eat natural all beef dogs from a local butcher. Also BBQ sauce and coleslaw for toppings

I think we can all agree that you're the oddball here when it comes to food in general.

You have neither grill nor children. Your lack of hot dog reps is expected.

That's not unfair. But how often do you eat hot dogs per month or year?

I probably eat 3-4/year, mostly during barbecues over the summer.

How did this thread go from re-posting someone’s stupid comment from elsewhere to actively containing multiple terrible conversation?

I can (and actually do) eat mayo by the spoonful at times, especially if it's something I've made from scratch and flavored (like with roasted garlic, or charred scallions, or squid ink).

You mean you sometimes eat spoonfuls of aïoli. Just add a pinch of garlic, call it aïoli, and people somehow have no objections when they might otherwise object to mayo. French fries with mayo? Gross, to a lot of people. But call it French fries with aïoli, and they're all over it.
Aïoli (or allioli, if you're Catalan) has garlic, mayo does not. ;)

Having been there, I can absolutely confirm that the Japanese are capable of putting mayo on darn near everything. It's delicious on okonomiyaki and takoyaki.

Mayo, ketchup, and mustard are all bad.
:thumb:
What do you put on a burger or hot dog?
Cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle. And no, it isn't dry.

Chili and onions on a hot dog.
There is no reason to ever put onion on anything.

Same. I also like hot dogs with cheese on them. I’m perfectly fine with a cheeseburger that has nothing aside from the cheese as well.

Just ban all sports. Ban any competition. Ban anything that has a winner, because that requires there to be a loser...and that loser should not be forced to deal with the knowledge that they are inferior when matched against someone better. That loser has the right to live his or her life falsely believing that they are an equal with regards to that task. Bah.

I don't know man. As a kid who never fit in and had few friends, dodgeball definitely carried a different kind of trepidation that I never felt playing flag football, basketball, soccer, kickball, etc. in school. It's literally the only "sport" where the kids who hate you get to chuck objects at your face with no repercussions.

My thoughts on this matter might also be skewed because my rural school didn't have actual dodgeballs and used basketballs instead.

Yeah depending on the gym teacher and the structure... it could get pretty bad. If it's half court people can stay to the back and there's little risk. But sometimes our teacher would let it go even full court and i saw some bad bullying. I loved dodgeball but some dudes got crushed in a very bullying way while the teacher read the paper
