Loved Falcon + Winter Soldier. I wasn't sure where they were going to go after Endgame, but they continue to hit homeruns for me.

Awesome! but weird. The two being recast were the worst of the bunch AFAIC while the casting for the others characters was pretty much nailed.
I liked Luke Cage. Iron Fist is fine being recast.
Agreed.
Colter was a bore and the show took a nosedive after Mahershala was killed.

Winter and falcon soldier was great. Stinks it's over.

Are there plans for a second season? I know I say this every time, but for how little I cared for Anthony Mackie and falcon, this show did wonders in changing that for me. I'm completely on board with how they handled that character. That wakanda costume was badass (it did look uncomfortable to wear around his face). I highly recommend everyone checking out Synchronic on netflix with Mackie. He is really coming into his own.

My wife noticed that WandaVision was put up for Limited Series Emmys, but Falcon and Winter Soldier was put up for TV series. Not sure if that means anything or just semantics.

It does look like Mackie will be the new Captain America in the upcoming film I linked above.

They did do a lot of things to set up a continuation of this story line though, with John US Agent Walker and Sharon Carter. Is that enough for a Captain America film? Not sure, although a rogue Sharon Carter might be enough to bring Steve Rogers out of hiding.

Rumors of it being Captain America and Winter Soldier, but might have to wait until after Captain America 4 movie.

Thought it was pretty dece overall. Karli and the flagsmashers were a complete dud, both in acting and execution. Too bad, as the characters had a lot of potential. Once again, Marvel's low batting average in creating a compelling villain takes yet another hit. Thank goodness Daniel Bruhl showed up halfway through. Good on Mackie for delivering an emotional monologue while wearing tinted shades.

I hope they redesign the costume for the movie. That white neck piece looks stupid and the goggles have never looked great. He looks like Horace Grant out there.

I just assumed the goggles would be a retractable piece of tech, a la Stark's mask, (but obviously on a smaller scale) so whenever "acting" (brilliant!) is required, you can see their full faces. When he launched into that and the goggles were still on, I was like, what.

Haha, I was the same. It looked so odd because it was a pretty long speech and focused on his face for a good amount of that time. I felt bad, here he is giving this poignant talk and I can't stop thinking about how uncomfortable it looks to be wearing that

The costume is really bad and it hurts the character. Plus if any Captain America needs a helmet, it’s the dude who isn’t a super soldier.

Lots of movie release dates in the second half of the film, also with Eternals footage... and a teaser for the Fantastic Four reboot.

I wasn’t sure about Eternals and then they show Salma Hayek. What the hell is The Marvels? Also, no mention of Mahershala Ali’s Blade reboot.

They were fine (Ant Man films). I'm an Evangeline Lilly enthusiast, so there's that.

Ant-Man would make a much better TV show than a movie. Ant-Man and the Wasp was a mediocre film and only served to slow down the momentum following Infinity War. I also can't believe they're bringing back Peyton Reed. Well, actually I can. He's cheap and will do exactly what Marvel tells him to do. The original Ant-Man wasn't too bad but it'll always be a "what could have been" situation. Imagine if Edgar Wright stuck around. A director with a point of view. Imagine that.

Didn't catch this at first, but I saw on Twitter that the title card provides some context as it makes references to Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau (probably as Photon/Spectrum), and Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan. The latter will be introduced in a Disney+ series later this year and will be portrayed by Iman Vellani. This will likely be her introduction into the movie side of the MCU.

The Ant-Man movies were great, the second one in particular. They are refreshingly smaller-scale (pun intended unfortunately) and feature a bunch of generally good people with solid moral compasses.

The plot in the second one happens because they're trying to save someone, not stop someone, which is extremely unique in the MCU catalogue up to this point.

I enjoyed the first Ant Man. The second one badly needed an Edgar Wright pass. And I think the “smallness” of it lends itself much better to TV.
