On the current LGP board, it shows that I joined in 2006. But when I first joined the original LGP, I think it was back when years started with 1.Yea. I was thinking about it and I was on LGP 6 years myself. Its gonna be weird to see how long I last on this board and if I'll be to someone that you guys were to me.
There was some other Pens board (I can't even remember the name now) in the late 90s that I was a member of. Had a similar flame out due to over-modding, and there was a mass migration of posters to LGP. In the early days there, I won an essay contest sponsored by Electronic Arts to explain what Mario coming out of retirement meant to you as a fan; I got an EA fleece (which I still wear), some random swag (like coffee mugs) and an autographed 66 Pens jersey. (Was originally supposed to be a Canadian Olympic jersey)
I was working at Universal Music at the time, and jokes were made (for some reason) about ABBA. Well, ABBA was a part of the UMG artist roster, so I ordered up their entire catalog and sent it to RJ as a Christmas gift.... and that's why I am the first entry on the LGP Insider's Guide.

I think LGP had a reset somewhere along the line and everyone had to start over.On the current LGP board, it shows that I joined in 2006. Was the other board you mentioned the Igloo Report?

Yeah, LGP had a format change in 2006 to it's current format. I was on the old format for about a year or so. But everyone started over in Feb of 2006.I think LGP had a reset somewhere along the line and everyone had to start over.On the current LGP board, it shows that I joined in 2006. Re: Who Are You?
Must have been. I remember living in Kentucky in 1995 and going to the library to access Igloo Report. That was right after the Murphy-Mironov trade. I never posted there. It got real bad real fast.I think LGP had a reset somewhere along the line and everyone had to start over.

From Kentucky to Kansas. Out of the outhouse and into the haystack. Or something.
Re: Who Are You?
Only lived in Kentucky for one year. I liked it. The people were generally dumb as posts, but a lot friendlier than most other places I've lived.

I used to play soccer at the local institution of higher learning that I attended, where I wore a number in the 30s.
