This smacked of "look how smart we are, it doesn't matter who the players are we can win with anyone"

Brady got her pregnant. Left her while she was pregnant for his current wife. Deadbeat dad for her kid.

That might've been the most disturbing clip I've seen in a long time.

Philly did a fine job of reminding me why I hate that city after I spent the entire game rooting for the Eagles. Thanks, Philadelphia. **** the Flyers.

btw Gronkowski has officially reached the level of "guys that I enjoy watch playing regardless of team affiliation." He has joined Greg Maddux, Randy Johnson, Pavel Datsyuk, and Lebron. Its comical how pathetic some of these defensive backs look when they are trying to cover gronk, and these guys are some of the strongest, best athletes in the world.

Perfect coach for the misfit Lions. He’s going to a division with 2 potential franchise RBs (Howard & a healthy Cook), a team with a plethora of weapons (Vikings), oh and that Aaron Rodgers guy. He better come up with a better defense than that dumpster fire last nite. And for Crosby’s sake, play your best defensive player in the biggest game of the year!

From the perspective of wanting the Patriots to win last night, that game was a carbon copy of the Steelers-Jags game. If the Pats hadn't gotten that fluky int, the game probably wouldn't have gotten close. The Eagles were able to do whatever they wanted on offense. Which begs the question, why would you defer the kickoff when your defense sucks?

its behind a paywall, but the long and short of the article is that the patriots strongly believe in their 2 for 1 strategy of scoring late in the first half, getting the ball back int he second half and scoring again.

belichek does a ton of brilliant things. but he also outsmarts himself. the reverse on the last kickoff made no sense. it would have if your QB was landry jones. you want the big special teams play to make up for the terrible QB. but you had a chance to just run a normal return and give brady the ball at the 20-25 with an extra 5 seconds. but instead...you did that. the last play in the seattle SB comes to mind, too. not calling a timeout before that interception worked out great. but it was really, really dumb. the only defense of it is that an extremely improbable play happened to occur right after. that's much more luck than genius.
