I’ve only ever watched the show in syndication, but Adam stepped down as show runner after S7 and the show has apparently moved away from autobiographical topics and has become less good.

Kevin Spacey acquitted of all charges of sexual assault in the UK. I believe that Spacey has prevailed in every civil and criminal action that has been brought against him.
