Has anyone had trouble dealing with PNC when purchasing crypto? I’ve been looking to invest in crypto, but I’m reading that PNC doesn’t want to deal with crypto.

I created an account on Coinbase, and I’m wondering if I should even bother since I have a PNC account.
I am a PNC customer and funded a few hundred in 2017 from PNC to coinbase.
I put $250 into coinbase to test the waters and see what PNC would do. They accepted the transaction today. They probably don't care about $250, but if it was $30k, they might have a different tone.

flipping a coin would probably be more accurate than asking us (or anyone, really)

**** doesn't make any sense. I think ETH is a good long term hold regardless of entry though

Didn't Tesla just announce that they were no longer going to accept Bitcoin?

Yup. Due to environmental concerns.

Tesla has some rackets going, but accepting bitcoin is one of their more impressive rackets. I tip my cap to them for even convincing one sucker to buy a depreciating asset using bitcoin.

The cool thing about Tesla and Bitcoin, from Tesla's side, was if there was some problem with the car and it had to be bought back Tesla has the option of returning the payment in Bitcoin or cash equivalent. So if the coin moves significantly either way, as it does, Tesla gets to decide and pocket the difference. Good way of hedging their loss on the car.

DKNG having itself another awful day, down %4 right now. As annoyed as I am by my stupidity with the F earnings thing, it kept me from legitimately losing a ton on DKGN. I had a string of nice DKNG takes leading up to the F thing and I know I would've bought into DKNG at $59 on 4/28 and it's about to fall under $40 any moment. That's incredible.

would they do that if the purchaser used cash? I'd be pissed if I paid cash and they gave me bitcoin back while it's dropping

No, only on transactions where the original purchase was in Bitcoin.

Is there a specific reason for the DKNG plunge that I missed...?

The earnings missed in that the stock price was very high but the company itself hasn't turned a profit yet. With inflation fears starting to creep in these gimmicky/fun stocks are going to take a hit, I think.

I'll circle back to it if it keeps doing its prior volume and volatility, but I'm going to have to see a sustained consolidation on the chart before I do that. Which, I guess, are contradictory statements.
