Yeah, you got in real early. I don’t know if K and G will ever reach where they were when I bought in.

Thought about getting some $320 6/25 $FDX calls last week as I feel this earnings will be really strong. They were cheap last week. Nevermind now.
Heh, nevermind again

Market is pretty flaccid today.
Do something.

Anyone into PTON? I'm not, but I watch it. No idea why it keeps going up.

I also didn't think I'd see GME over $200 again. I know very little of how the world works.

Pay who?
The self-governing regulatory body, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Excerpts collected from various sources:

"FINRA is a not-for-profit, self-regulatory organization (SRO) dedicated to promoting investor protection and market integrity in a manner that facilitates vibrant capital markets. One of FINRA’s tools for achieving this objective is fair and effective enforcement of our member firms’ compliance with securities laws and regulations."

"FINRA uses fine proceeds . . . to fund improvements in technology that helps the regulator better monitor markets and examine member firms . . . FINRA reserves are essentially its investment portfolio, which totals about $1.7 billion.
The Finra board has determined that fine monies can be used to fund capital initiatives, educate investors, help firms comply with Finra rules or replenish the reserves."

I'm confused. What's the relationship between the SEC and FINRA? the fact that FINRA is a private organization is interesting to me but I don't really get how it can be private as a regulatory body

They said $12m or so would go to harmed users. I'm trying to figure out who how they determine which users were harmed.

If it's like a class action you'll get your choice of a $2 check or a voucher for $10 of RobinHood Bucks.

I was going to distill this, but, honestly, this link explains it completely, MiMH: https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answer ... iffer-sec/

The article I read mentioned this is not related to the "Meme stock trading in March 2021"

the main Robinhood issues were in January. That's when the meme stocks first took off and they started locking down trading

Yeah, it wasn't exactly an action verb...instead, MRIN beat it to the punch...

Either way, I have a zillion shares of it. And then it goes all right into BabyDogeCoin...and then that money goes into my new yacht...
