Never a bad time to expand your position in FUBO.
I'd be buying in at the highest I've seen it since investing, so I'm not sure. Also, I leave for vacation this week, and even though that excuse makes no sense, I kinda don't want to do anything until I return.

Yeah, was being very tongue and cheek.

I always try to put my money in something when I go on vacation. Usually a more conservative pick that will probably move slower than something like DKNG. Although it is a lot more tempting for me to check the price while I'm away, which defeats the point of a vacation.

Which is exactly what I'm trying to avoid.

Should have avoided looking starting today, apparently.

I cashed out of DKNG with a tidy profit so I'm clear. It's been surging about 1.5% at 10am recently, then immediately tanking back to below the opening price. I've cashed out on that a few times.

I didn't even turn my terminal on today. Sounds like the right choice.

I'm waiting for funds to settle since I sold yesterday. Hopefully I can get in before a Tuesday rebound.

Wow, yeah, DKNG is down hard. Should be a nice week next week.

There is something that bugs me about pre-market trading. The stock is trading down in pre-market, which affects sentiment. But when you look it's trading a mere 24,000 shares (on a high volume security) with a bid/ask spread of $.20. It doesn't really mean anything. But when the stock opens at the lower number and corrects, it appears that the stock made great gains that day when all it is doing is correcting back to its natural position. I wish they'd base the base for the change calculation to yesterday's close instead of today's open, it would depict the situation more honestly.

Got murdered in DKNG today. In part because I couldn't sell at profit yesterday because I am obligated to hold onto the position I entered because it was bought with unsettled funds. I hate this.

I’m getting killed everywhere. AAPL and VTSAX are literally the only two tickers in my brokerage account doing well.

Anyone into PTON? I'm not, but I watch it. No idea why it keeps going up.

nothing sounds more awful than "stock market alerts"

what are your alerts? do you get a notification when your stocks go up/go down a certain %?

Yeah, I have my alerts set for any change in price at 5% or higher. The week or so before vacation, I was in the black on everything except for DKNG. Since then, I feel like that dog in the room on fire.

This is going to be my biggest loss ever. Normally I'll just hold a week or two for a stock to come back but there isn't really any reason to think, at this point, that DKNG will rebound. There is no reason that it's down so there is no real reason to think it will come back.

YIL that Greece's 10 year bond has a lower yield than the yield of a 10 year bond of the US Treasury. why bother trying to make sense of DKNG when a steaming pile of trash like Greece is considered to be a safer investment than the US

Wouldn’t that mean it’s just as likely to bounce back?

It's possible. I'm not selling yet, will probably hold through the week.

It peaked at $71 earlier this year, and when it fell to high $50s I thought it would run back up over $60 within a few weeks. NTP66 bought in at $55 and is now stuck. I bought in at $48 earlier this week, and it's at $44. I don't claim to be an expert on it. ;)

This isn't a blue chip like Ford or even DAL, I have no certainty that the position will come back. DKNG could file for bankruptcy tomorrow and I wouldn't be massively surprised.
