I'm going on a string of vacations starting Thursday through June 9th. I will probably keep my position in F while I'm gone. I don't think it will have a sustained run over $13 (if it gets there) but I bet I can sell in the $12.90s somewhere in that time.

I did pull the trigger on SQ this morning at 200. I have an alert set for 220. 240 would be ideal, even if it takes an extra 4 to 6 weeks...

I’m curious how you ended up targeting F
form 2016-2020 F dropped pretty consistently (~$13-~$9). The Pandemic Crash knocked it down to ~$5. I suppose you bought it as it recovered from the crash and that was the right move as it’s at about $12. What I don’t get is that if the pandemic never happened, would the stock have bounced back like it has?

I look for blue-chip stocks with high volume between $5 and $15. It performs strongly in that space, in part, because it seems to have a permanent resistance built into it. So you can ride the broader consolidation around that resistance.I’m curious how you ended up targeting F
It moves a lot in the swing term but never really satisfies the long hold. Which is perfect for my trading strategy of repeatedly taking 1 to 2 percent gains.

Headlines like “Tesla tanking because the guy from the Big Short bet against it”...which is displayed right next to TSLA being up 3% today. Who is reading these stories?
Or maybe a better question is who is Jim Cramer for? Do people not realize that if he actually knew things he wouldn’t be telling you on cable TV?

Cramer has a nine figure net worth and is there because pretending to know what you’re talking about is easier and takes less time than actually managing a fund.

First salient point in forever for MIMH, but a very good parallel...

Up 3% today, down over 25% over the last month+. Let's not pretend like TSLA is a hot ticket right now. And Burry is pretty well known in the investment world.Source of the post Headlines like “Tesla tanking because the guy from the Big Short bet against it”...which is displayed right next to TSLA being up 3% today. Nothing but green this week baby. Just need it to go up 50% from here to breakeven. Just a couple more days.

I’m up about 7% since end of April, but don’t have much money in. Trying to decide how long to hold it.It took 14 trading days but F is back to where I bought it before the earnings call. If someone would have bought in that morning they'd have a 11.3% return over those 14 days. Put another way, if I had bought right after the call instead of before the call I'd have my best trade ever by a factor of 4. Oh well.
11% on a blue chip stock in half a month is pretty good. I hope all of their earnings calls tank for no reason.

I’m not dismissive of Burry’s talent. It’s just that implication of...one dude thinks a thing therefore the stock is struggling today.Up 3% today, down over 25% over the last month+. It’s not a TSLA point. It’s the media that’s adjacent to the market, closing their eyes and pointing at things to say are movers.

I apparently didn't read the fine print on that Marcus $100 bonus. You need to maintain your previous balance along with the deposit for 90 days. I transferred my wife some money to cover a shared expense and that single transaction killed it. I guess I have no more reasons to stick with Marcus, with their plummeting interest rates.

i don't understand how anyone values bitcoin, i don't understand how a currency that fluctuates so much can ever or should ever be used as a currency, and because of that I don't know how it could really be worth too much. that said I just bought some at 36,800
