people sharing where they were during 9/11 is lame. It’s like talking about dreams or vacations with other people; it’s too personal to be interesting. Everyone just wants to talk about their specific experience

I get that it’s this shared traumatic experience but the particular conversation of “I was doing this” is annoying
I agree but I also know that, while everyone else on this board has direct memories of that day, you were still shitting your pants, no?

Add Fantasy Football to that list and I'm in.

I'll say it again but the worst BBQ chips are Middleswarth. I'd say BBQ chips are the most consistently good chip. If I want to see if a new brand is good I'll start with their BBQ offering
You're wrong again.

Didn't you object to me ending a post with "no?" years ago? Maybe it was someone else.

I didn't "**** my pants" that day but I guess I'm not really sure what that means.

It's a hill I'd die on so I'll take the demotion. I mean I've looked at it 100 ways. Your way. My way. 98 others. But I just don't like them.

Never heard of Middleswarth chips. Are they some sort of Penn State cult thing?

I pinpointed my middleswarth hate. The texture. It feels like the chips were already chewed, spit out, and pressed back into chips. The flavor is average overall for bbq. Maybe the ruffled ones are better

Mambo No. 5 and Wild Wild West both get too much hate. They’re much more fun than people give them credit for

Mambo No. 5 was a great jam, and unique. Fun to see songs from the postwar era get covered and do well 50 years later. Disagree on Wild Wild West though.

Bill Murray kind of seems like a pain in the ass in real life.

There was that whole "Bill Murray crashed my ultimate frisbee game" mythos that was building a few years ago.
Maybe it's because I am an introvert but it looks like being in his presence would be an exhausting stream of tired Dad jokes being sold as clever.
