Biden being cute with blame assignment…at some point this all escalates. And he will have to say things like, “Donald Trump should be in prison”. And “Manchin and Sinema are compromised by outside money.” And “The GOP should be removed from all committees”. And “The Justice Department is letting America down”.

He’ll get the to point where he can’t play the “friendly rube” persona. And it will be much much too late.

In a sense, he has a chance to be the worst president of my lifetime - Including the last guy. Because at least Trump attempted to achieve his goals in office.

…or we get voting protection and GOP accountability/in handcuffs and he’s maybe the best in my lifetime. Not much middle ground.

I'd say given the timeline, we're much closer to the latter than your former. Seems like a guy who's just willing to accomplish what the GOP will allow him by playing "friendly" and that's it.

I don't think the GOP would act the same way, given the same scenario.

I don’t think anyone, least of all establishment dems, are capable of dealing with the implications of the republicans going unapologetically authoritarian. The dems will get turfed and thrown out of office through whatever means before confronting this
