My thought is a lot of larger companies have implemented guidelines to follow the initial mandate, and I think and would hope they would continue to follow on their own. The only issue I see is if one or two large companies want to take advantage of the already tough job market, they'll back away to try to lure potential candidates from other large companies. And once that happens, others will follow to not be at a disadvantage for hiring practices.

I know right now, especially at our mfg plants, distribution centers, the floor people, we have some quitting or threatening to quit, but are having a hard time to bring people in for this mandate. I think those threatening, their holdback is it is going to be difficult to find somewhere else w/o a mandate. But if one or two companies open things up, they'll all be applying there.

Yeah, not hard to see where this goes. Office jobs are going to mandate vaccines and warehouse/distribution jobs are not. I think the question will be what customer facing retailers like Walmart, and big restaurant chains do.

I like the idea of requiring federal employees and contractors, while allowing employers to make it a condition of employment if they choose
