Candace Owens is immediately crying foul on the CA recall. This is going to be their MO going forward to continue to grift. Even with that Edler website launching early yesterday, how people get suckered into donating to nothing is stupid.

I'm on the fence. Raises and pay should still be merit/ability based, but being more open about your salary should be more widely accepted. Swallow your pride and be open to coworkers. Make it like a watered down union, without all the BS behind it.

I think also how employees are encouraged to keep their salaries private amongst their co-workers. Imagine if people knew how often they were getting paid well below their co-workers

As a manager, it's frequently talked about during my group's 1:1s. I think everyone knows what band and salary range everyone is - and it's always a hard conversation because I can tell them I can talk to my boss and they can talk to HR - but there's really nothing I can do about it.

IMO, this is something I often think about. If people know it's rigged going in, or believe they, I wonder how that hurts the polls going forward, if they bake that distrust in?
