I'd kinda like to know if 1000s of white nationalists are gathering in my area, and what they're up to. I'm not going to deny that some/much of the coverage gets blow up and sensationalized. But the response to that is not 'ignore' by the media. That's a far more dangerous proposition.

So in my hometown (Clarksburg, WV) which happens to be the birthplace of Stonewall Jackson there is a replica of the statue of Jackson on horseback at the Manassas battlefield in front of the city-county building.

The city council is going to discuss taking the statue down at its next meeting.

the leader guy put a video of himself on youtube in tears because he was arrested or something. people think this is some sort of win because he's cracking. i'm not sure how anyone still thinks this guy isn't playing a character. he was on the colbert report for putting quarters into people's parking meters for god's sake. he is a bozo who probably only believes half of what he said. he's basically a skin head kardashian fame seeker.

Realistically, I don't think anyone would think that. Bannon is an unmitigated dadhole, but he's not stupid. Trump is an unfixable tire fire and Bannon is on his way out the door. These comments give him some separation from Trump for his post-White House career.
