Btw, notice how no one is talking about the march any more. Just Spicer and the news conference.

Oh, I agree it doesn't matter, just funny. Just seeing him up there, in what he said and how he bumbled through it, combined with who his boss is, made me think that position will be a revolving door.
Sorry -- I guess I mean to say the over is the safe play.

Huh? The march story is going nowhere. "No one" is a bold statement.

That'll work well, if North Korea bombs Japan; just send a stooge to the podium and turn your attention to the stock market futures.

By "no one" I mean the Washington press.

There are eleventy bajillion ladies currently reading about the marches online right as week. I don't think they need the "Washington press" for coverage.

Or is the point that political journalists have moved on? Which doesn't seem to really matter considering paragraph #1 above.

Remember when they said Occupy Wall Street wasn't going away? Pepperidge Farm remembers...
You have a remarkable interest in trying to de-legitimize actions, which are opposed to ideas/people, which you claim to not support.

It's quite impressive, but I'm not sure what utility you are deriving from your behavior.
This still stands.

Sounds like he's been spending too much time with Betsy Vos her namey?

This seems like a weird thing for the NFL to promote?

[Just had to step in to say, Jesus this woman looks insufferable. I'll bet she is a nightmare to live with.
She looks like my friend, who is the CFO/COO of Funny Or Die.

Almost every female I know was at a protest today.

Isn't that to be expected in CA?

[So sorry, whenever I hear Trump's braggadocio, it doesn't exactly set off my outrage meter.
I'm sure this mananimity translated to Bill Clinton.
And I'm hopeful that I am able to teach my daughter right and wrong and everything in between, whether or not Trump is in office.
I wonder if the little Shaflette will ever get know you voted for Trump. :pop:

I will teach her that the wonderful thing about American democracy is that one shall never feel intimidated nor pressured to divulge their vote. ;)

Just watch this. 15 minutes to say we will eliminate ISIS. 14 minutes about him talking about himself and the media after he starts by saying that's not what he's going to talk about. It's absolutely mind blowing. It may be entertaining, but it's still mind blowing.
See those stars on the wall behind him? Each of those represents a CIA employee who died in the line of duty. There are nearly 90 in total, and over 1/3 of them are anonymous, owing to security considerations for surviving family and field assets.

As if the CIA gives a hot sht about the crowd size at the inauguration.

Why would the republicans tell him to stop? They established an alibi during the primaries that they don't support him. And even though they do actually support him, if he screws up royally they can always revert back to, "he's not our nominee" mode. And in the mean time they can have him continue doing standard republican things. It's an incredible win win for them.

I'll say at this point...2018 is going to be interesting. Leading up to this election, most Democratic leaders were terrified because Republicans seemed poised to make major gains on the leads they already have. In the Senate, the Democrats will only be on the offense for two seats in battlegrounds (NV and AZ), and defending 25 seats.

A filibuster-proof majority isn't out of the question, but a lot of it is going to hinge on which way the economy/country goes under Trump

Another question because I'm pretty unfamiliar with all of this, is the rally just in DC or all around the world like today? And if so do they have those numbers everywhere?
It was global. I'm on a tablet, so photo sharing is awkward. But I've seen protests in (deep breath);
Washington DC, Boston, Philly, Miami, Chicago, Phoenix, Denver, Seattle, LA, SF, Sydney, Tbilisi, Prague, Barcelona, London......... and those are just the ones that have popped up on my Facebook feed.

So it's kind of a big deal.

Isn't he scared to upset the CIA? They've overthrown governments, assassinated more important people than him. They can murder death kill whoever they want and it's completely anonymous.

Omg! Maybe his days are numbered (she said hopefully).

Gosh I hope be pisses them off.

Also, my fb feed is filled with people going to or supporting the march. Some people are offering food and a place to stay or a pit stop.

People are taking pictures.
Generations of women and men are there.

Yesterday my highschool friend did pro bono work for an immigration law firm as an F you to Trump. Love it cause she's a Harvard educated die hard liberal. His worst nightmare.

This whole thing is just amazing to see. Wish I could have gone. But that's like 100k people with stupid effing pneumonia.
