I didnt realize Maryland was full okay with it. I thought it was decriminalized and legal with a script.

PA is backwards with weed. You can get it with a script. But if for whatever reason, they test you following a traffic stop and you pop the test (regardless of if you were sober at time of incident) you can get a DUI lol.

I want to complain about how behind NC is with weed but SC might never even medically legalize it
nc got to fix their sports gambling rules first.

I'm sure once PA legalizes it it will only be available and taxed at the "Fine Wine, Good Spirits and Whacky Tabacky." store

What did Mike Pence do that we know of, outside of admit he can't be in a room with another woman?

What did Joe Biden do with Obama?

What did Cheney do aside from using his connections at Haliburton to fund the War on Terror?

What did Al Gore do aside from inventing the internet and talking about global warming?

Point being, I'm not defending Kamala, but like... does any of us really know what a VP does/is supposed to be doing?

My grandfather was Vice President under Herbert Hoover.

Wait. Was he? No, he wasn't. But no one would know the difference if I said that.

Mike Pence did the water bottle thing. That was hilarious.

Kamala gave the "don't come" speech

It's actually a little bit interesting that you mention Hoover's VP. Charles Curtis was the first Native America or obviously not completely white person to go so high in political office in the country...

Probably my favorite meme is her and the Trump "i'm gonna come" response.

Well, the local book banning lunatic not only won a seat on the school board, she received the most votes of all four candidates. Sigh.
Dare ya to loudly read passages from 'Catcher in the Rye' at her swearing-in ceremony.
"Catch Her In The Rear" is my favorite...... let's call it 'derivative work'.

What did Joe Biden do with Obama?
I might be fabricating this memory, but I thought he was instrumental in the negotiations with Congress that brought about the ACA/Obamacare. That was kind of why he was on the ticket, to be the legislative guru.
What did Cheney do aside from using his connections at Haliburton to fund the War on Terror?
He was functionally the POTUS for five or six years. That's....... I mean, in a way that's almost hat-tip worthy.

I think a third house of Congress would be useful: The House of Sarcasm.

I guess that's a little bit of my question

1. what does a good VP look like?

2. what has Kamala done to justify getting the VP nom from Biden?

I'm not necessarily criticizing her since it's all contextual (like you're saying, most VPs kind of do nothing) but that's kind of what frustrates me about what politics is these days ("these days" being the last 40 years). Everyone in governmental leadership is limp and uninspiring

I even forget she exists at times which is weird considering she's in arguably the second most powerful position in the most powerful country in the world

Just tagging onto the legal weed convo................

There's a dispensary a couple miles from my house that's the size of a PetSmart. It's right next door to the local Social Security office, which I find unjustifiably amusing.

How many know that, constitutionally, the Presidential candidate and the Vice Presidential candidate cannot be from the same state?

How stupid is that? Just another reason to scrap this bloody US Constitution and make a new one.
