Strictly from a, weather nerd standpoint, this kind of sustained cold over Memorial Day weekend is impressive. Still sucks though.

At least Monday is looking great

It will be 43 degrees when I tee off at 6:50 Monday morning. Not great imo

Good news is the sun will likely be shining and it will warm up very quickly. My favorite kind of morning to go, feels so nice when you shed that pullover.

Yeah actually it'll be nice. Only thing I'm really not looking forward to is the dew on the front 9

That said, how about this?

It's 2:30 PM on May 31st. I'm visiting my mother in law in Columbia, SC and it's 71. Unreal.

Absolutely beautiful. I know it's normally 90 by now down there. Couldn't possibly ask for a nicer day after the last two turds.

Temperature today is similar to the last couple of days, but there is very little breeze and the dew point has ballooned to the mid-70s. Humidity is downright oppressive.

**** humidity. Back to another time of year where my wife shows me Mexico City weather forecasts and whines about Pittsburgh having the shittiest weather possible.

Tell her to move where DG lives in SC. Moderate winters but 90+ and humid from May to September. At least in the NE we get breaks from the heat and humidity throughout the summer.

**** that. Mexico City runs from about 65 to 85 with relatively low humidity and a gentle breeze pretty much year round. Closest I’ve experienced to “perfect” weather outside of Southern California. Spending a year+ stationed in Charleston was all the humidity I’ll ever need. Had to PT at 5 AM because black flag weather conditions would hit at sunrise.

Dew point actually topped out at 77.6 today. I cut the grass around that time and it was suffocating. Your annual reminder:

If I see anyone using the stupid humidity percentages, you're banned.

I mostly lived in places w/o AC from when I went off to college until I moved to FL when I almost 30. No way could I do that now.

I have the birthday of Willis Haviland Carrier (November 26th) marked on my calendar just so I can give thanks every year.

Our area is getting hit hard by slow moving storms today... And with this humidity it's just torrential rain. Some spots in Chester County pushing six inches of rain since noon

That was probably the worst thunderstorm I’ve ever seen. Crazy wind, lots of hail, LOTS of rain. Been without power for about 2 hours now.

I discovered that my garage and basement are not waterproof. Also had to take the vent off the dryer cause water got in there too.
