Rooting for crappy weather on Murica's birthday = hating Murica.

This is MURICA and in MURICA I have the right to celebrate it's birthday any way that I damn well please. If that means putting my kid to bed early and getting drunk on the front porch while it's raining and enjoying the pitter patter of raindrops on my front lawn, THEN SO BE IT! IT'S WRITTEN IN THE MAGNA CARTA!

Yeah count me amongst those not disappointed that its going to rain in Houston all weekend. Last year some lovely neighbors were setting stuff off in the middle of the cul de sac until midnight. Not a fun time with a dog scared shitless and a month old baby at the time. Bring on the rain!

How would he know? You've never mentioned you're in a band.
Dont you have a car to race?

or no kids to go home to?

or a huge lawn to mow?

or more lawyer school to do?

or a delorean to wash?

etc...etc...etc...

:D

What did your MAGNA CARTA say about using dewpoint instead of humidity to tell how comfortable weather is?

So we’ve got record breaking heat in the west, and now a June/July Caribbean Hurricane (third one on record in over 100 years).

This is fine.

We've had very few days in my neck of the woods above 93 degrees.

Thanks to the Tropical Storm effect it is 78 outside right now.

We went from a real feel near 100 to a real feel of 70 in about 10 minutes last night. Was pretty wild. My daughter and I were on the front porch for pretty much the whole thing and she was loving watching the lighting roll in.

Yeah... When that outflow hits from a strong storm and the temperature just plummets, so good.

Elsa didn’t do much to us in Charlotte. AM showers. Not much wind.

We picked up about a tenth of an inch here. Mostly a meh event.

Doesn't help that for the last four days, there have been storms everywhere but they keep missing us by less than a mile. Yard is starting to scorch.

It came down here for an hour last night then was fine. That's two straight weeks my Wednesday/Thursday golf leagues got washed out. Sad

I finally heard the cicadas here last week but they didn't seem out of the ordinary year.
