I was in Denver this weekend and when we landed I noticed the haze immediately. It then made its way east when I came back home.

Our state health service sent out a smoke warning for the western wildfires. That's not good.

Yeah, I already told my wife that Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be spent catching up on all those outside chores I've been putting off. Then hopefully a campfire Saturday night. I'd say let's have one Friday also but if I drank Friday, Saturday would be worthless

I think we've only had above 90 high temps 4-5 times this summer. Weird. Lots of upper 80s and heat indices in the mid 90s, but not actual airtemps.

I’ve shadjinxed myself. All 90s since a day or two after I posted that, and it might hit 100 here Friday.

WU has Friday at 74°. That's my little guys first birthday, and it will be wonderful to sit outside in the evening with family.

The one tornadic cell has traveled from Allentown the whole way into Central NJ. You could actually see what looked like a debris field on radar.

My hometown (the burb of the Burgh) had a tornado touchdown this evening. First time I can remember that happening. Everything has been clear and sunny in Pittsburgh somehow.
