Not sure. My buddy bought the tickets. I don't know if he even looked at the seats or not.

**** cool as hell...I can't imagine being able to do those lows.

This dude is unreal. Found him ~10 years ago. Saw him live in Pittsburgh and he sounded better than the videos.

DD mentioned Slayer in another thread, which reminded me of an article I read recently in which Kerry King said his new band is basically Slayer 2.0.
"If I was ever to try anything different [from Slayer], I guess that would be the time. But no, I really have no desire to do anything different," King said, as transcribed by Blabbermouth. "If I wasn't in Slayer, I would be a Slayer fan. So yes, I think it's an extension of Slayer, and I think a lot of people will think it might have been the next record. I guess maybe 80 percent of it would have been, maybe it would have been exactly what I'm putting on this one. In my eyes, I think it's a definite extension, a follow-up to [Slayer's 2015 final album] Repentless for sure."
STFU Kerry

Unfortunately for Kerry the most likable members of Slayer are dead, retired, and banished from the band.

Precisely. Kerry is a worse version of Lars.

That's an insult to Lars. Lars for all his laziness with his drumming....is the brains behind Metallica as far as business dealings and arranging songs. He is about 10000% more important to Metallica (on par with Hetfield) than King ever was to slayer.

You're thinking about him from a musical perspective, when I'm thinking about his Napster, etc. stuff. Lars was always the least likeable member of the band, but still likeable in general. King was never likeable as a person.

Knocked Loose is coming to Stage AE in May. Already bought pre-sale tickets. Not everyones cup of tea (maybe lean more to the hardcore than metal side, and the vocals aren't for everyone), but I am pumped!

Other than a song or two I've never particularly cared for Lamb of God but they were amazing opening up for Slayer and definitely enjoy seeing them live. On the other hand, Mastodon is incredible and you should feel shame.

Saw Mastadon with Gojira last time around...and while Mastadon is not quite on Gojira's level live....they were still incredible.

I've always been a big LOG fan, but haven't seem them the last few tours cause they were opening up or playing bigger venues. I much prefer to see them in a smaller type place so stage AE works for me.

Seems like this is a 20th anniversary tour, so Mastadon is playing Leviathan in it's entirety and LOG is playing Ashes of the Wake in its entirety. Should be a fun time.

Kerry King wasted no time in proving that his music is really nothing without Jeff and Tom.

He’s actually opening on the log/mastadon tour. Gives me a reason to show up late.

Kittie was one of my first introductions to bad ass women who play metal back in 1999 or so. They just put out a new single and it's pretty **** amazing. Not all of the original members, but Morgan and Mercedes are there at least.

Dude. That takes me back. I had a friend who was obsessed with Kittie. I remember their debut album being pretty good but don't know if I ever heard anything else from them.

Their debut album was the biggest success. I played the hell out of that album. Don't care if it was "nu-metal" ...it resonated with a 16/17 year old me at the time.

They had a followup album, then a documentary type thing in 2018, but for the most part they didn't do much after their debut and tour on Ozzfest and Slipknot. Obviously the metal landscape was way different back in the late 90's and early 2000's ....lots of misogyny and stuff around women in metal..and they were super young when Spit came out so it all makse sense.

Here is an article I found that is a good read on what happened to them...

This song just dropped today and has hit at a perfect time for me. Just 3 minutes of pure anger and it is what my body needed with how work has gone and is going to go this week.
