Anyone ever use a shipping service like Shiply or uShip? I put the camper I'm purchasing on there and am getting quotes that I'll likely accept. Beats me driving out there to pick it up.

Called insurance to swap an old camper off and a new camper on.

Almost $800 a year premium increase due to coming off a rate lock from 2021.

Can someone in Ohio explain to me why Ohio turnpike has like 1 little tiny lane for EZ pass at most of their major interchanges. The lines at those toll booths were insane.

Boo on the Krauts ending manuals.

Testing the 2024 BMW M2—maybe the last M car with a manual transmission

Reminds me of the BMW Z4 which was the last BMW with a manual a few years ago.

Whatever. Who actually enjoys driving manual in today’s traffic? Find a new hobby.

I've always wanted to learn how to drive manual, but I'll never use it so why take the time.

My first new car, a '94 Geo Prizm, was a manual. I loved it, even driving in Boston. Heathens who do not enjoy this must be doing it wrong.

Mrs. Franchise, my girlfriend at that time, cried when I tried to teach her to drive it due to the clutch having a burning smell. My days of driving a manual were numbered.

It was fun for a while, but got old in city traffic. No way would I ever consider going back to one.

My father in law still drives a 94 Geo Prizm stick shift lol.

You will all be shocked to hear that Shyster only buys and drives cars with manual transmissions.

I think I've said this before, but my grandma's last car was a '77 Ford Maverick with a three-on-the-tree manual transmission, which she drove well into her 80s. If my tiny elderly grandma could do it, then anyone who can't drive stick because it's "too hard" has a butt made of the finest sugar candy.

Do the manual transmission devotees here also use a washboard instead of a washing machine?

While I don't like being in stop and go traffic (and I avoid it all costs), there's far more engagement in driving a manual.

Have you driven them?

Cars with manuals are driven. Cars with automatics are steered.

Is this one of those weird “back in my day…” things?

I mean if you like it, go for it. I’ll stick with the non-stick, thanks.

Yeah I’ll take the ease of just “steering” over having to fiddle with a manual transmission.

If someone wants to drive a stick more power to them.

Just think of how jacked your left leg would be if you were a man and drove stick, though. You’d be getting all the ladies.

Like that Simpsons episode where Homer lifts a weight with the same arm until he has one normal and one ripped bicep.
