What you need is a Messerschmitt.
Hey Rose - there's a Messerschmitt in the kitchen. Clean it up will ya?

Model S “plaid” version coming soon. 0-60 in under 2 seconds.

My Y does 3.2 and it feels almost instant. I can’t imagine twice as much oomph.

The 0-60 is fun but the little burst of 60-70 to pass someone on a highway is actually incredibly useful.

That's too much power in a car to the point of being a nuisance on the roads.

I feel safer with a higher degree of acceleration. The time it takes for your brain to talk to your car is reduced and you have much more precise control once you get comfortable with the go pedal.

Update on the foam cannon.

I bought this:

And this soap:

And am very impressed with the results. You could easily wash 4+ vehicles on a full bottle of that stuff in the foam cannon jug (says 1L) and I have a huge truck that I actually sprayed one side 2x. The soap leaves a nice finish without the need for waxing. I know most car guys say dont use a wash+wax combo but for my daily driver that is parked outside all the time it worked great.

I don't know if they still make it, but I have an old bottle of Turtle Wax Ice that is crazy easy to apply and remove, and the results are outstanding.

Cars are going the way of college tuition. I already think that current prices are absolutely insane - just look at virtually any pickup truck for proof - and can't imagine how they'll go up. Everyone's going to be taking 5+ year loans that cost the same as a mortgage just to be able to afford the payment.

I bought my pick-up truck the saturday before the world shut down for COVID and paid 32k used for it. My same model truck with same miles (9K) is pushing 39K USED now. It's insanity.

I am amused by Ford bringing back the Maverick name for its new truck. My grandmother's last car was a 1977 ford Maverick sedan with a three-on-the-tree manual transmission. I recall it would regularly backfire when shifting. I have a lot of fond memories of riding with grandma in that car.

Was driving my car tonight, made an odd noise so I pulled over. Was draining fluid and the tow guy said it was transmission fluid. Sweet.

Surprisingly this means that for once in my life I purchased something at the right time.

He thinks the truck is totalled. That blast of concrete obliterated the entire side of the truck including one of the wheels.

I tried so hard to justify the new turbo Type-S, but just cannot do it. My TL is probably going to be the final brand new car I buy - perhaps even the final car I buy, given that it's still super low mileage, and I never drive anymore.

My wife's jeep cherokee has absolutely nothing wrong with it, but a dealer offered me 15k for it and I'm so tempted to let it go. It just sucks that everything I want to replace it with is 40k plus. Though I know if we have a second kid in the next year or two she's going to have an itch for third row. 2 years ago the same dealer offered 11k for the same jeep. I have my eye on a Traverse, Pilot, or Explorer...
