what should i get at popeyes. as far as i can tell it all sucks except the crazy expensive cajun mashed potatoes

You can't go to Popeyes and not get some fried chicken, too. That just doesn't compute.

I enjoy their frosted coffees and lemonades from time to time. So much sugar for this old man though.

McDonalds nuggets continue to get worse. They are maybe half as thin as they used to be and look more and more like BK garbage nuggets.

Put together a homemade mashed potato bowl (inspired by kfc) last night for the stillers playoff game. Might have been the only positive.

I'm pissed BK changed their nuggets around 8 years ago. They used to be similar to their chicken fries in terms of spicing and quality, then they just changed to McDonald's level of **** quality.

I almost only get chicken fries from BK now, in the rare event I go.

Spicy tenders, dipped in mashed potatoes (gravy optional, I prefer to go with a hot sauce over the gravy for these purposes), and biscuits.

I actually had a couple of McD chicken nuggets over the weekend because someone else bought them and gave me a couple, and they were very, very thin compared to the last time I had them...they were relatively fine, but they definitely lacked the girth that I've preferred...

That’s what I’m saying. The ones I had were fresh and crispy, but thinner than a White Castle slider patty.

CFA's milkshakes run as 1-A on my standings with #1 being Wawa's. But it's a real tough call and a lot of times, if I want a postgame milkshake after officiating, it all comes down to which establishment is on my way home.

Yes @NTP66, it's a very tight battle but I put Wawa's right up there with anyone's.

That's a bold take, my man. It's been a few years, so I'll have to drop in at Wawa soon to confirm or shame you. I don't think I'd ever have considered them top 3-5 in the past.
