We just got a Rutter's right near our house. Need to try that at some point.

Tried BK's new chicken sandwich yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Chicken was thick and juicy and seasoned. Not going to challenge Chik-fil-a, but a significant improvement upon their prior offerings, IMO.

By comparison, I had a chicken sandwich from McD's over the weekend and I was thoroughly unimpressed. It wasn't bad per se, but it was just kinda there.

I thought the BK chicken sammich had a weird sauce. it was a pretty good piece of chicken though.

tbh... I didnt really even notice the sauce. the seasoning on the chicken and the pickles overpowered it for me.

BK actually came out with a piece of chicken that isn't a minced patty? Took them long enough.

Interesting take. I haven't tried BK yet but the McDs chicken sandwich I thought was very good. I agree, CFA is top tier but I tgought McDs was well above Wendy's.

That to me sums up pretty much all of McD's food. It's my least-favorite fast-food burger place, and to me all of the food tastes the most "prefabricated" out of all of those places. It's like school cafeteria food.

But man, 1am Saturday morning after an 8 hour alcohol bender it may as well be filet mignon.

Wendy’s was always my go to in that scenario.

When McD’s made the switch to fresh beef for their 1/4 pounders it significantly improved the burger and added something that didn’t feel “pre-fab” to the menu. If I’m limiting my burger choices to the big three fast food joints I would take a 1/4 pounder over anything offered by Wendy’s or BK.

I would take anything offered by Wendy’s over BK, and anything offered by BK over McD.

Of the Big 3 chains, the correct ranking is: 1-BK, 2-Wendy's, 3-McD's. I put BK at the head of the list because Whoppers are actually tasty fast food, and also because of onion rings.

the fresh quarter pounder is a huge improvement. Still wouldn't take it over a properly made burger from other places though.

I'm W-BK-MC. I do like a whopper but haven't had one in a few years.

This would be my ranking.

I do like the Whopper-Onion Ring combo. However, it seems like BK usually struggles to produce fresh, properly made items more so than other chains. I don't know if they pay worse, have poor training, or what, but I have found that quality fluctuates significantly there.

My favorite all time fast food burger was the Bacon Mushroom Melt at Wendys, though I don't remember the last time they even had it. When that was around during my Pitt days, I hit up the Wendy's in Oakland every day for lunch.

Trying to think about and it’s probably been about five years since I last had Wendy’s and 10+ years without Burger King, which I used to love. My wife loves McNuggets, so if we’re getting non-CFA fast food it’s McDonald’s.

The only CFA in Beaver County is also one of the few things left inside the mall. I think the food court also has like a China Wok and a Charley’s steaks, where employees must just watch the crowds come and go from the CFA all day. It’s been there quite a while, has to be one of the first locations in the Pittsburgh area. I rarely go because it’s a pain to get to for take out.

They moved the Verizon and jewelry stores to an outparcel so not sure why they can’t do the same to CFA.

We have a Charley's Steaks in our mall, and it's generally pretty busy. They're not bad at all, IMO. CFA always has the longest lines, though.

We have a weird food court CFA, and then there is an outparcel CFA. This is on the I-20/I-95 interchange, so the outparcel one gets all of that traffic. But the food court one started curbside service, so we just use that. No lines, no wait. It's perfect.

I haven't been to one of the big three fast food joints in a long time mostly because I always feel like I'm inconveniencing them when I go to their drive thru. If Wendy's had the same customer service as CFA, I'd go there a lot more.

McDonald's fries are trash. BK has the best followed by Wendy's.
